I feel the same way as you. I really admire George. He has so much vision with %100Electronica and the live streams. And his music sounds so different and unique, now matter what project he’s on, he finds a way to connect all his music in a really fresh way. I love how you can tell if a song is more EPRIT or George Clanton or Dream Kisses, like if they were all different artists. You can also find songs right in the middle between the boundaries. It’s thanks to artists like him that this genre an all its subgenres had continued to grow so much, and veer away from the “meme” image that some people has given to this awesome music the past years

a few years ago when new retro wave was on the rise and Com Truise had released his first album, I found a chance to go see him live in Dallas on his first tour. I was surprised to see he had a live drummer with him and it was absolutely fantastic. I'll never forget the live version of Ether Drift I heard that night. Sadly I've seen him 3 times and that first show he played on a lonely Monday night was the only one that had live drumming.

I’m pretty new to this guy but been listening to China Crisis since I was a kid in the mid 80’s as my dad liked them. I spotted a ‘Red Sails’ sample in one of his tracks about ten mins ago, I always thought ‘Jean Walks in Fresh Fields’ should be sampled, not sure if George ever used that in one of his tracks? I enjoyed the ‘Another Man’ sample in this set as well.

nah he was nowhere near the first to do this, afaik online concerts go back to at least 2013 (in vaporwave at least).
