@Ekamitis4life gent was watching nick heal, he watched the arc get thrown at them, he saw that nick was going to get stunned. Yet he pushed anyway, not only that he didn't smoke them off when his team all had digis, gent threw that by overheating, not nick slacking
Gent made the call prior to Nick getting hit, either they all get stunned and get pushed, or all swing together. Pushing was the only play, even after that, they had a chance to win the fight, Nick should have went for the kill instead of trying to finish, other guy was flesh.@@BaneOfV
@soldiers360 they weren't being pushed at all, gent had digi, could literally see if they were being pushed or not, they weren't, yet he pushed without confirmation, literally didnt even smoke them to see if they were there, which they werent sure of somehow, they literally thought they werent there. And while pushing he decided not to smoke them off while his whole team has digis. Like just bad, overheated, pretty simple

Honestly, they would of made it, nickmercs genuinely sold at least 2 games where they would of gotten way more points, whats annoying is, it was stupid small mistakes, where he should of just be aware of his surroundings with his experience

@@wokeskies2892its because his teammates told him to take the q and nick acknowledged it. But he got greedy and stayed at the end to try and get 1 more kill, which resulted in the team getting 2v3 at the end, when they actually had a gd high ground.

Nick on the roof had ONE task and that was to watch the tunnel door. Instead he keeps switching and looks left ( because he's kill hungry ) and because of that he misses half of the walk-up of the team from tunnel what ends up losing them the game. He could have backed them up or delayed them with some first beams. Unbelievable...

People aren't getting on Gent for literally swinging into gas and getting knocked for free in that last fight. If he hadn't done that, they probably wouldn't have lost.

That would be an interesting combo. My question with that is how sweet is with his attitude and how just chill of a person gent is. But you have Hal and the rest of TSM so you never know

@blacksabeth123able1 I agree but I also think Sweets attitude is worst when he doesn't trust the person's in-game judgement. Gent is one of the controller players who actually has proven ability to make calls and play smart, to me that seems like the kind of 3rd that Sweet needs.
Playing with nick in CC pays better than him on any other pro team. I'm sure he's chilling.

Last fight was just a misplay. They needed to stay in that room as long as possible and just wait for one more team to die. They DIDN'T need to engage that fight at all.
They needed to take space and show presence. If not they get pinched between two teams. Right play just didn't work out

That's true but that situation is similar to when you have to "play for 2nd". Play too passive and you get pinched by both sides with no KP. They took an isolated 50/50 but just didn't get the kills. @@scotte1096

Nick is talented af amazing aim and fighting sense, but his iq isn't developed enough, he needs more hours. Alot of small mistakes led to him losing it for them. Still great comeback either way.
This won't be good for Apex as a whole. Love or hate Nick but he brings in so much viewership and attention to the game, if he decides to switch to another game now, I hope all these streamers and pros know their viewership and exposure will be rough... Hal has some big carrying to do to keep this game up near the top.

EA better pray they decide to grind out challengers cause than it will still be a W for them as it will increase challenger viewership. Money wise the tripods are set they grind outside of PL.
@kinglittle123 the amount of his supporters that would watch main broadcast instead of nick is very very low. Pro league viewership will be fine without him. It will be lower but ALGS shouldn't hinge on one person anyways.
Imagine a competitive scene depending on a person who doesn’t deserve to be there. I don’t think I can think of a single serious esport that has that situation. Maybe if he left the game would recognize they actually need to improve and make it interesting than depending on a 30+ year old washed streamer that’s hurting his team of studs to save their ass

I feel like for gent and deeds there’s like a 20% chance they throw but for Nick it’s like 40% and I’m not even trying to hate. Nick genuinely threw half those games. I feel like Nick thinks he’s better than he actually is and he needs to understand that he really isn’t. Only then will he actually get better
Couple things, gent saying I should’ve went with nick in the last fight, shows you someone has to be with nick and you can see the hesitation with Nick in fights. Also Lebron James would never be playing football during the basketball season. It just doesn’t make sense to put your time anywhere else if your trying to go pro in something. without an anti-cheat in apex how many players are cheating using Ds4 windows, or geo filters, or xim devices, or wallhacks to try and get into ALGS, it's not just a cheater problem its a grieving problem, how many great players and great teams are losing opportunities due to other players cheating, it is a real question and a genuine issue with this game
