When we have a bunch of things to do, our minds get cluttered and distracted and that makes it difficult to feel good. Get a couple of things done that you've been meaning to do. You'll feel great!

    Every year one of my goals is: "to be able to do a handstand". Including this year. I've just changed that. My new goal is: "I let go of yoga goals". This made my practice today so much more enjoyable!

    Thank you so much! I love your Hatha Yoga Happiness videos. I think I prefer the videos where you are talking directly to the camera rather than the voiceover recording. But I love your style of meditative yoga!

    I love that everyday there's a "surprise", it keeps me interested and looking forward to every practice. My biggest struggle I think is staying in savasana... I take one or two conscious breaths and then my mind just starts wondering and sometimes even singing!! Anyway, that's just something to improve over time, Thanks for the great practice!

      I actually find savasana one of the most difficult poses because my arms and legs keep tensing up! I keep having to consciously relax them, but am constantly aware of them tensing.

    your "im so glad that you joined me today" always makes me wanna say back: im glad i could join you today! the leggings are ace and that quote was a self loving booster as well. sadly i don't own any blocks to practice the forearm balance, but i did dolphin and dolphin plank and included a headstand which was a nice change as well. hope you're doing alright! :) xx

      Jacky Awesome!! And that's totally ok if you don't have blocks- dolphin is ok, or you could even just practice kicking up for now until you feel confident in balancing 😉😘💗

    Nice practice, I choose to be more easy going, with the help of the strap I was able to do wheel pose, thanks for sharing, you are a great guide and teacher, thanks for sharing, namaste.

    I love the inversions. And after all this time (a year?) my wheel pose looks more like a wheel than a squashed bug!!! Yeah!

    Found that shoulder stand impossible to do without my head touching the floor or block. Have had a bad day and so this just made me cry through the rest of the session.

    Lesley, you and Duke are a wondercouple! :) I LOVE this challenge. This class was sooo great! Did this one after an advanced backbending class from Kino (I need to work on my backbends A LOT) and this class was just soo perfect. And a record for me, this was the longest I was able to hold myself in Pincha, like 4 or 5 seconds!!! :) Love to you :)

    Thx for the challenging practice! I don't have a clue how to kick up to pincha mayurasana. Dolphin is no problem, but getting upside down from there? No chance... I have to search your channel if you have a tutorial for forearm stand. Or I try it the other way around = walking the feet up the wall and then try to lift one leg after the other (Dylan Werner teaches inversions that way). However, I felt great after today's class and that's all that matters :-).

      Yvonne Lange I'm so glad you felt better after class today! 💗 So I looked, and I totally thought I had a pincha tutorial but I don't see it in my playlists! What I do have, though, are a few other flows that work up into it like this one: ua-cam.com/video/kFeXbSUBWZ4/v-deo.html
      There is also a 48 minute flow where I spend a little bit more time on forearm and wrist positioning too...
      It's really up to you how you will feel most comfortable jumping up, but I mostly teach inversions the way we did it in today's class kicking up against the wall- just for optimum safety and support. 😘

      Listen to your body. Take a break from certain poses if it hurts :)

    In savasana, could you explain how you move your shoulders toward your waist? I have no problem stretching my lower back, but my shoulders always seem to feel hiked up. Thank you!

      KLynn Pier Yes, just slide the shoulder blades down your back as you would in downward dog- think of it as creating length between the head and the shoulders. If you need to shift them up off the mat to do this, that might help! Let me know if that works?💗

      Fightmaster Yoga so lengthening my neck? When I try to move my shoulders toward my waist, I feel like I'm not lengthening my lower back. I'll give it a try. Thanks!

      KLynn Pier So I would do these two movements separately: First, lengthen the shoulders down and then after that, lengthen the low back... see if that helps with your articulation.☺️
