With the rising costs of childcare, there’s definitely a market for moms who are already at home and have experience with kids. I’ve seen some start in-home daycares or even offer babysitting services
That’s true. My sister started offering after-school care for kids in the neighborhood, and it’s actually brought in some decent income. She didn’t even have to invest much to get started
Right, and the great thing is that many stay-at-home moms already have the skills and setup to jump into this. It’s just about finding the right niche. Some have even started consulting for new parents or offering virtual childcare advice.
You know what else could work? Partnering with local businesses. Some moms have teamed up with coworking spaces to provide on-site childcare while parents work. It’s a win-win
My financial advisor, Joseph Nick Cahill, helped a friend of mine turn her small in-home daycare into a legitimate business. She’s now running it as a licensed childcare center and even has employees
Bro Mohsin always trying to benefit the community first and foremost. May Allaah bless you with Jannatul Firdaus. May Allaah grant Bro Ashfaque goodness here and in the hereafter. Aameen

You have to do your full training full dbs... Your house has to be fully children friendly fire doors garden has to be children friendly... This brother makes it sound it easy. It's not.. Alot off works involved also you have to have English fluent in speaking. .
The problem forever is no one respects the stay at home mom. The community especially the in laws believes she a on call maid servant of there To serve them 24/7 since she’s at home The sisters forced to work degrade women who are at home believing she lazy and does absolutely nothing out of jealousy The men also believe moms at home are lazy who they treat like business transactions if it not his bday anniversaries or valentines he will avoid her at all costs
Is there a middle ground between doing all of the training and communication with Ofsted directly vs. Going to a childcare provider/agent? E.g. an online course that preps you but they don’t take a cut of your income.
Search on the government website on requirements and then look for the courses on the links they suggest. Many local colleges offer these courses for childminders and there's lots of trade organisations who provide the paperwork and guides to Ofsted registration.
There is something weird about this and scary. Like anybody can take care of children. What is this opening the floodgates for? Potential abuse across the board.
How did you work that one out? Explain how there is a floodgate opening for abuse?? You think they willy nilly allow people to take care of children? Please don't scare monger for nothing, especially when you don't know any of the procedures.
Couldn't have brought on a better guest to discuss this topic. Extremely experienced and educated in the field of education. 👍🏻
Love the sincerity of the brother not to use the opportunity to shout out a specific business but rather focus on educating

Exactly. And for moms who want to scale up, it’s important to think about the business side too.
