Rules as written, Aquilons cannot use grenades if they shot the sentry once entered the battlefield. Grenades stratagem: TARGET: One GRENADES unit from your army (excluding units that Advanced, Fell Back or have shot this turn) that is not within Engagement Range of one or more enemy units.
As if it were your shooting phase, out of phase shooting, "have shot this turn" could refer to normal in phase shooting, up to the judge at the event ultimately
@@Unflappabledelladuck in that case, it would have been written as "have shot this phase" but it's worded as "have shot this turn". As it is written, I don't see another interpretation, it's pretty clear. Note that in the video it's used the wording of early 10th, but the stratagem got reworded recently to the version I wrote. @@Lollix87 Core Rules Update Page 24 Not Been Selected to Shoot or Fight This Phase: This phrasing is used in several rules - typically Stratagems that can be used in the Shooting or Fight phase. When using such rules, the reference to ‘shoot’ only applies in the Shooting phase, and the reference to ‘fight’ only applies in the Fight phase. Gaunt's Ghosts can issue 2 orders. They can screen out a unit so they can not charge the ghosts if shooting goes poorly, and both units can unload on them. Seems like a solid way to safety engage a 5 man of assault intercessors guarding an objective.

Aquilons bring some great utility for a full scion army. Opening drop zones for the army sounds great

in tau taking any unit that isnt going to contribute to spotting or being guided is almost never a good choice.
