Shifa Family Welcome Dr. Amer Javaid - Consultant Psychiatrist

Shifa Family extends a warm welcome to Dr. Amer Javaid, who has joined Shifa International Hospital Ltd. as a Consultant Psychiatrist. He is a graduate of Lahore Medical & Dental College and pursued further studies abroad. He completed his Psychiatry training at the Yorkshire & Humber Deanery and later achieved membership from the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK. Additionally, he successfully obtained the Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) from the General Medical Council, UK, which is the highest qualification in the field of psychiatry. Dr. Amer brings extensive experience in Psychiatry to our department, with over 15 years of experience working abroad as a Consultant Psychiatrist and Associate Professor in Psychiatry. He has also served as an Examiner in the Professional and Linguistic Assessments Board (PLAB). Dr. Amer has joined Shifa International Hospital with the aim of enhancing the Psychiatry Department to better serve the community.
Dr. Amer Javaid specializes in various areas of Psychiatry, including Anxiety, Depression, Panic Attacks, Behavioral Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Bipolar Mood Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Schizophrenia, Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders, Non-Epileptic Attack Disorder (NEAD), Psychosis, and Dementia.
Dr. Amer Javaid will be available at Shifa International Hospital, located in H-8/4, Islamabad, from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
