I think I can safely say that this boss battle, with this song, single-handedly turned Donkey Kong Country from amazing game to *LEGENDARY GAME*
I agree, but then again Donkey Kong Country 1, and 2, are already legendary games that stand the test of time in my eyes.
Though it was soon blown out of the water by just about every sequel, I agree that the final boss was a highlight.
@@stanstanstan2597 I liked 1 more than 2. It was more simple, and I hate mandatory collectibles with a passion, so for me anyway the first one is better.
@@stonedassnecoarc I think mandatory collectibles (for full completion at least) are a phenomenal way of challenging the player. It requires you to work a little harder, and really get good at the mechanics and levels of the game. It provides a fun and usually meaningful side-objective, and more often than not nets the player something in return (along with the satisfaction of having collected all the collectibles).
At this point we need a shonen anime about Richaad, where he's 14 but looks 37 and he just guitar battles other dubious looking high school students and assorted supervillains for the fate of the world
