I am not sure what I am missing but probably after completing BGP configuration which you left in the External L3 section, we will see POD 2 devices under the Fabric Membership? am I right?
hey can you direct connect spine to spine with out using any IPN devices between datacenters for multipod? i have an unlimited supply of DWDM waves between DC's
direct connectivity between spines may lead to the impossibility of forwarding BUM traffic across Pods, in scenarios where the directly connected spines in separate Pods are not both elected as designated for a given Bridge Domain. As a consequence, the recommendation is to always deploy at least a Layer 3 IPN device (a pair for redundancy) between Pods. So it is not recommended. It is though recommended in aci multisite solution but that too with limitations.
So video says that i can use loopback99 with same ip address on all 4 IPN devices, can you share the document where it says the same. As we are going to deploy similar topology but the confusion is with Phantom Loopback IP address.
The phantom RP would remain same but the loop back IPs would change on each device. The phantom RP should be any IP from the loop back's subnet. Sorry if the messaging didn't come clear from the video.
@@luizldalmeida Hello, this video was produced nearly 2 years back. Cisco keeps changing the inventory in dcloud based on the use case demands in market. it used to be there but must not be there now.
Great job creating this video!
A brilliant tutorial. Very well explained throughout. Best ACI Multipod video I have come across. Many thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Good Job. Keep it up and keep continue such videos.
Thank you Tejinder. Feel free to mention in comments if you would like to see any particular content
Very Nice video, thanks for sharing...
Good explanation of Multi-POD
Glad you think so!
GREAT VIDEO Sir!
Glad you liked it!
Very well explained

That is correct Tejas. Due to the nature of the lab I had access to, I could not capture for my video. But yes that's how it concludes
thank you for this video
@ Datacenter Networking could you please tell which lab in Cisco dCloud you are using for this ACI Multipod lab demo.
can you pls explain where exactly dataplane TEP address and External TEP pool is used ?
where is the next video

@@letssimplifytechnology2022 what if I have multisite? It would use no go then direct connects would be supported no? Ty so much for ur reply.
Only two sites (fabrics) can currently be connected back to back. A topology with three or more sites connected with direct links is not supported,
Feel free to connect over email if you need any more help for design or planning the multisite fabric. quanta.it@quantasoftsolutions.com.au

Are you doing it on ACI emulator? How to practice for ACI labs
Its a dcloud lab
@@letssimplifytechnology2022 Hi, dCloud does not have a Muti-Pod lab, only Multi-Site. Is it a special configuration for you, a customized lab?
