    Love this sketch so much. Hilarious and you can clearly see John Cleese is trying his hardest not to burst out laughing 😂❤

    I can't believe I have never seen this sketch before. I thought I'd seen every one at least 4 times! I love the bit where John Cleese almost bursts out laughing. It's hilarious - thanks for putting it up on UA-cam.

      Like the bloody general election, every 4 years ffs. We should just give up with all votes because someone said 200 years ago, this vote is final. He was known as a cock. The referendum was a one off, the people’s vote is a different vote with different choices. If you can’t work that one out then you are just like the bloke 200 years ago.

      +Sentinal "Funny thing is, that John Cleese who so joyfully mocked the generation who saw every family mourning the death of loved ones. Is now old himself and feels shame but understands much more." So much better to be stuffy and dire about everything. Comedy, and laughing at things should be totally banned, twice.

      @357MagnumBob 6 років тому +4

      Sentinal, we mock you for being a hardcore leftist dolt who doesn't understand humor, because you clearly didn't see the humorous point being made. Instead you concocted something that is so wrong, so stupid, so morose and so self-righteous all in one sentence that it is a true work of fart. Only leftists who spend their lives twisting peoples words so they can accuse everyone who is successful of heinous capitalistic barbarism could come up with such crap. Why don't you get a degree in physics and apply for work at NASA?

    I can see it when people say this is upper middle class / upper class English humour . Nobody outside the catchment area finds this funny for the most part, can honestly say I never have cracked a smile at these skits , still nostalgia is the reason Phyphon keeps going .

    • @atlanntis8064
      @atlanntis8064 7 років тому +2

      Why is this upper middle class / upper class English humour?

    • @hannahdyson5603
      @hannahdyson5603 7 років тому +1

      Atlanntis Just the silly abusrd stereotypes and over the top humour .It's very " ha ha jolly good " . It's very quaint and is based on and international stereotype of Brits .
      It may even be a Southern English thing to be honest . I am from the northern part of the country and it mostly is viewed as being not very funny at all.

    • @atlanntis8064
      @atlanntis8064 7 років тому +3

      I still haven't understood how any of that is enjoyable mostly by the upper classes. Stereotypes and over the top humour are upper class things since? I am under the impression that you simply like sorting things by class/finding patterns even tho there isn't one.

    • @hannahdyson5603
      @hannahdyson5603 7 років тому

      Atlanntis generally speaking I think you will find even the Phyphon's see it as an upper class thing as well seeing as most of them are upper class and could only really relate to that genre of humour . Over the top humour can be funny but this was to over the top because that is the general view of the upper classes and they took the piss out of it .
      Most people just find it irratating. Plus once you have seen one Phyphon sketch you have seen it all . Bit of a one trick pony are the Phyphon's.

    • @atlanntis8064
      @atlanntis8064 7 років тому +2

      Wow, you really are British.
      Regardless, I still believe your pattern is baseless, I think it's much more likely you've just encountered a couple of Upper Class Bongs who like MP and, mistakenly, assumed that was a general trend.
      I do agree that MP is mostly irritating and repetitive tho, but I'm afraid most comedy in the English world follows that pattern for some reason, maybe it's just the language barrier which stops me from really apreciating the comedy.
      Cheers, mate
