Most these decks that get tier 1, tier 2, or whatever, are decks where people treat this game like master duel junior. They spend 5 min special summoning monsters, but God forbid a deck that isn't even tiered like heroes gets a good skull.
It is a check. It is no sign of anything. The floodgate could have been used the entire time. It was chosen not to be played. Its use shows that others feel threatened. In the first play, Stratos could have handled the trap, breaking the floodgate. The deck has multiple ways of addressing that back row.
I had one guy use Non-Fusion Area against me while I was using Dragonmaids, but I had already summoned Sheou during the duel and Chamber just lets me summon it from the graveyard.
It wont , theyll just play cards to remove it. People thought d barrier would help slow down Tenpai in MD, it didnt. They just learnt how to play around it

In a world of Revolution des Fleurs, El Shaddoll Winda, Predaplant with a built-in Kaiju that is 100% consistent thanks to a skill, are we really scared of the Synchro Spam deck that ends on, in a best hand scenario, 2 and a half monster negates and sometimes one backrow, or a monster negate and a special summon negate, sometimes one backrow? It's a good board but it's not invincible at all. Again, this is a SYNCHRO SPAM deck. In a game with Winda as a somewhat common factor in games.
Neos fusion gets around Non-Fusion area just so you know… literally just happened to me. I’m assuming non-fusion area only prevents monsters materials being fused from hand or field rather than using them from deck?
I've been using Blizzard, it deals with all the spell fusion cards while also protecting your board from dark hole, book of eclipse and so on and can interrupt decks that require spell cards to extend. It's a much more versatile option compared to non-fusion area that's completely useless against half the current meta decks.
I guess we live in a world, where the people who wished for fusion decks to be relevant again over the years had their wish fulfilled by the monkey‘s paw
The going second if he used veiler on the ruby you summoned of golden it was gg. But hero being a full yellow button deck, an unhealthy number of people will be way higher then they should be.
I've been playing duel links for the past 6 years and I've been tempted to just uninstall the game and leave a terrible review on it for scamming people to purchase such high value cards for them to just release them for a cheaper price months down the line and force players to buy cards just to keep up with meta skills/cards in order to have a much more fun/great experience for both new or old yugioh players.
Just run these kinds of cards (continuous spell/trap floodgates) in True Draco. That way if you're dueling a non-fusion deck you can just use it as tribute summon fodder instead of it just being a brick.
They will nerf the skill most likely after the KC cup in Feb but hopefully they do it before because this skill makes the game no longer fun it's just really stupid that Konami would even consider making a skill like this without applying any serious cost/limits.

You can hard counter hero with winged dragon of Ra deck. They can’t super poly your divine beast or beat over immortal phoenix. Until rainbow neos comes out
It's funny, the first duel's opponent would have been able to blow up the trap if he just set the free Neos when he summoned his Stratos, but glue huffers can't read cards, even if they only have 1 line of text.
If you play that anti fusion card in your decks the game ll counter you and put you against a broken ,skill dependants of course synchro xyz and link decks in the pvp This game is programmed that way unfortunatly

I sense a lot of copium coming from Loom - although the current best Decks in the game are Fusion Decks, Non-Fusion Area is a Side Deck card at best (in tournaments at least, since ladder is best of 1) because it's going to be useless against Synchro, Xyz, and Link Decks. And I don't think Konami will release Dimensional Barrier to Duel Links any time soon.

As a heros player, theres plenty of ways around this card, all i can say is be mad lol, heros has never been relevant and definitely hasn't been top tier, so give us our moment, bwd had their's and i think seraphim was the worst deck with a b.s skill but yall gave them no hate, those guys woul abuse that skill over and over while playing heavy back row, so i counterd with my sacred beast deck and used a continuous trap that puts their special summons at 1 lol easy gg, suship was another tough deck that got plenty of love so i dont feel bad about heros being top tier😝

The duel links matchmaking is so good that if you play non fusion area you are not gonna play against a fusion deck for the rest of the KOG climb
