    We got married March 20 the first day of Spring and I said in my vows that spring represents new beginnings and I promised to see each day as a new beginning not hanging onto the mistakes of yesterday or keeping resentments, that's something I keep working on that has made a huge difference for me in our marriage 💑

    I learned a few years back that marriage is supposed to be a team for Jesus. The husband and wife are supposed to work as a team for God's glory and for their good too.

    Awesome sermon...Yes, friendship is a must, clearly men and women function differently. In accordance with this word and genesis 2:18, genesis 1:28, proverbs 5:15-20, philippians 2:3-4 I bind myself and my godly-ordained spouse to know what to aim for in marriage in order to bring people closer to God and have a flourishing marriage, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and glory to God!

    Marriage is a Union between a man and a woman. And they are to multiply. The family supporters our land nothing is better than a two parent homes . So God people the man and woman together by law in the Old Testament. . If you a Christian you should live by faith. But the ten amendment I still there. Marriage is bound together so children will have the best possible advantage to make it .

    Back when I got married there was so much crappy counseling If we had known then what is preached now possibly would be way different But sadly my husband died in 2006
    Upshot is he is in heaven with Jesus and now he knows as he is known .

    Men are not that stupid, at least the men I know and have encountered and in fact most men know way more than women think they do. Women are highly emotional and that is why we make the worse bosses and leaders but great at other things. I understand bringing in psychology and science but what does the Bible say? Men are the head of the household women are made to be the helpmate. There are roles for men and women. This culture pushes feminism and it creeps into the church and it is dangerous. Thank you for this teaching!

    What do we do when our partner categorically refuse to believe in Jesus, but is not even a bad person? What is that about? What do we do when we are Christian in that case?

      Just live your life loving the Lord first and loving your husband unconditionally and extend grace and give those desires to God! His Word says that just YOUR conduct could win him over…no guarantee, but I believe if you put your love and trust in Him first I believe he will honor you with the desires of your heart! :)

    • @k.raye.6914
      @k.raye.6914 Рік тому

      Not if he refuses to work on his inner issues and change his behaviors. I don’t believe God wants any of His children to stay in abuse. There are Bible verses talking about leaving toxic/wicked people who won’t repent. Google the topic for Biblical references.

    • @tonytran07
      @tonytran07 Рік тому +1

      @@k.raye.6914 Jesus made it clear that divorce isn't what God intended and "let no one split apart what God brought together". Only if other spouse is unfaithful then leaving them is okay.
      Cindy Williams, this sounds like you'll need a miracle. Here is the way according to the Bible.
      1. you pray to God to transform the heart of your husband
      2. Have faith in God. Faith is an ability you must develop and grow. The more faith you have, the more miracles can happen. All of Jesus healing and miracle were accomplished by faith. When his own homeland didn't have faith, no miracles could be done.
      Faith can move mountains.. it isn't us but God who is moving it. Have faith in God that he will answer your prayers to change your husband heart

      @@tonytran07 If you're insinuating she should stay and continue to get physically abused, wow. Should she try to make it work and get him help? Absolutely. But most abusers DON'T get help and don't change. So then she should stay?? That is not the heart of Jesus, I'm sorry. Even Jesus said to confront your brother in their sin. He lays out the order and method in doing so and in the end, if your brother will not hear and chooses to sin, then the Bible says to leave them. I'm not saying people should divorce, but being physically and emotionally abused is a different scenario. If you've tried and tried and they refuse to change, I do not believe God wants you to continue to live in harm. Also, if someone has children, that is 100% child abuse to leave a child in that scary environment.

  • @merovingian688

    You’re married like it or not to the nation state. If you don’t pass on your wealth to a love one the government gets it. You’re married from the day you were born. Until death do you apart.
