France protests: Police charge demonstrators, make arrests hours after pension bill adopted

- Police in Paris charged at demonstrators and made arrests on Monday night as protesters took to the streets of France after the government of President Emmanuel Macron adopted its controversial pension bill.
The bill was considered adopted after two no-confidence votes brought by opposition parties narrowly failed. Under the bill, the retirement age will be raised from 62 to 64 years old.
In Lille, tear gas was fired at protesters, while emergency workers attempted to put out fires in Bordeaux and Paris after garbage and trash bins were set on fire.

Back in the year 2018 more than 14.000 persons were arrested with no reason. On the 14 thousand only 4 were directed to a juge, for exemple one of them came with a gaypride's colored umbrella, considered as a weapon she was charged for "suspicion of willing to do something wrong with this umbrella weapon".
The last days 300 people were arrested and kept then released with no reason. Kids were assaulted by cops, as students who were sexually assaulted also by cops (got all the link in the french press if u need). And it's just the tip of the iceberg.
Even russians in exil are saying that back home, it's the same deal cop wise.
Amnesty international reacted, we got booted up from democracy to be stamped as a failing democracy etc.

Seems that there are many things to be angry about; perhaps the most egregious is that Macron dictated the law and did not let the French Parliament vote.

When you worked full time 40 years, don't you think it is reasonable to say you have done your part and here's a full pension. It is not much but you will be able to live comfy watching tv until your death. Thanks for your service. Especially with this growing trend in wealth inequality and the disappearance of the middle class.
Population is aging. There is no money if there is less active than people with pension.

Income inequality is still growing consistently which is becoming a problem for economic growth and also political chaos. Civilizations have collapsed in the past partly becomes of too big wealth inequality. Still, my point is just as a society if someone with a low to moderate income like a bus driver, teacher, construction worker or else worked for 40 years full time, jeez can we give them a break and let them retire.

Where are the human rights watch that acuses presidente Bukele from El Salvador that there is not democracy in El Salvador. El Salvador people are happy with Presidente Bukele but it seems usa is not. But this that is happening in France is sad and regulares french citizen are no being respected. Protesting and demonstrating is an inalienable right in France, OK; but what about destroying public property, burning cars, and looting, is that also a request?
The young people that come out only for burning, looting, and destroying public and private property are NOT French and care nothing for the pension issue.
