I was thinking Max showing up at a high school would be like Tom Cruise randomly showing up at a high school, and I think the comparison is apt. Global superstar, involved in weird occult groups, controversial figure, does all his own stunts.
There’s a vampire ability that deadens your emotions. It could possibly help, but I haven’t tried it before, if it truly makes it impossible to feel anything, it would make a number of the aspirations impossible.
I know its a late suggestion, but I think a balanced way to go through a lot of the degrees without focusing on on it is this: do one degree, then all the jobs it boosts, then do another degree and repeat By doing 2-4 jobs in between the degrees, it'll be not only a god break, but it's going through many careers and degrees essentially in the same time as doing 1 job from 1-10. I know you like to take things slow, but idk i feel this is balanced. Just an idea :)
Honestly, Temperence not being interested in men is perfect for the ✨lore✨she lived in a time where anything other than straight monogamy was not accepted, so she just settled for Guidry. Only in the afterlife did she accept her true self, hence why she holds so much anger and haunts the lives of people who are able to express themselves in a way she couldn’t. 10/10 dramatic story telling James
@@RemyJustice97 Normally yes, I'd agree, as an aromantic asexual myself. But it actually IS a bug in the game atm that the vast majority of generated sims are aro-ace.
@@FirebladesSong I know it was a bug in the game, but a person who made a mod that would fix it said the mod isn't necessary anymore because the Infants patch actually corrected the issue. EA never admitted it was happening, and didn't describe it in the patch notes, but she says it's fixed all the same. I'm guessing the save James is playing is old though, and had a lot of characters created at that time - I think the fix will work with newly generated Sims, not the old ones.

I've noticed that if you drop plants in the Magic Realm, sims will randomly plant them. So, if you didn't plant the cowplant, another sim may have planted a dropped cowberry.
I know this was from 9 months ago atp but I’m surprised no one noticed that Max’s son was at the football competition😂 Max was so close to actually being a present father….
When you get your first degree, any remaining degrees are shortened from 12 classes to 8 classes. Also, I've noticed that if you have the appropriate degrees, you can enter any job path directly. This shortens the time you need to get to the top of the career path and allows you to actually complete *all* job paths. (Example: You can get both food critic and art critic with the relevant degrees.) The only one you can't get a serious boost on is the mixology career, but Max already has that.
That title is giving me flashbacks to the Sims 1. Simslice had a hacked object, the Rejuvenation Station, that was just a clone of the shower, painted black with a neon green (blue?) nucleus icon on the side and a "keyboard" sticking out. Your sim "showered" in it, accompanied by a sci-fi-esque laser noise, and stepped out with all of their immediate needs maxed out (everything but room and perhaps comfort), leaving behind a pile of ash. I burned a CD as a kid that was exclusively committed to that file because I wanted to be sure I never lost it. I used to absolutely smother community lots with it so I could spend weeks on community lots without going home
The diagonal wall with the square piece above in that wacky big white house build is something I've seen in real life on older Edwardian homes I think. It is kind of weird, but good to know that it exists in real life. Edit: Actually Victorian homes also!
I just remembered maybe it was my fault theres no cars and open world in sims 4........ I remember complaining in 2012 and receiving thousands of likes when I commented _"whats the point of an open world and cars if theyre all rabbit holes and cars cant even park or open doors, I rather not have cars or open world"_ now I regret
As far as I could tell -- at least when Paranormal came out -- it didn't matter how high quality the things were that you gave to the specters -- it's just RNG. Although they do seem to like soul 🤣
Wasnt Max collecting every MySims statue? Or was that another playthrough im thinking of? Lol I mention because there was a Hopper statue in one of the stalls in Realm of Magic that you could've gotten.
I don't remember that (I haven't seen every episode though) but if he was, he might have finished the collection as a wizard. You can use the copypasto spell on time capsules - you end up with tons of time capsules, that all turn into different MySims statues.

If you max the Resistance levels in Batuu all sims become inspired when you are near them. It even works on Temperance.
