- So My friend Michael and I hit up several thrift stores in the Cleveland Tennessee area and I tried to my best ability to record our adventure with some tips and tricks this episode mostly contains tips and tricks on VHS hunting and one of our store hits
Keep an eye out over the next couple weeks for part two and three of the single hunt

A few movies that I have been looking high and low for on DVD is Innerspace. I also been looking for Predator, Tremors, Terminator, Child's Play and a good slew of others that I'm failing to recall.

Vhs tapes proven there fixable when they get broken people like myself are fixing them with Scotch tape it starts playing again with out no problem's
My grandma and I both have different Disney VHS tapes!! I only have Blue's Clues VHS tapes and some Barney VHS tapes and more!! But unfortunately, I don't have the VCR player because it's old and broken.
Good thing about buying vhs movies offline it lets you know about if it's new or used or it's not in good condition at all everything proven it let's people know before they buy them offline now days
No VHS in Goodwill Mass anymore.

I've been to a Goodwill store, but I didn't see any vhs tapes.
Yeah it really depends on your region. Not all of them have them not all of them carry them anymore sometimes they just throw them away sadly or sometimes no one donates vhs to them. They don’t share stock across-the-board like people think they do
There’s no guarantee that any stores can have any specific thing when it comes to a thrift store.
My local areas Goodwill‘s have completely stopped selling VHS tapes I have to go out of town to go to a Goodwill with them
Some Goodwill will have maybe a half shelf or a whole shelf some will have a whole wall

Digging your VHS hauls! Do you ever get any action or horror?
Thanks very rarely do I ever get to find horror. (it’s just uncommon in my area to see them in thrift stores that we do have some vintage stores that sell them at value which is hard for me to spend)(though I do have a handful of horror it’s mostly movies in a series that I am a huge fan of maybe one day I’ll do a collection walk-through)
Ask for action I’m not the biggest action fan unless it’s based on the comic book,
or video game or is sci-fi or fantasy. So I definitely grab those when I find out
@@UndeadVideoProd It's the same story where I'm at in SC with no horror. I guess that's the norm these day. And I feel ya about not wanting to drop a ton of money on VHS. I usually rifle through the bins at the Goodwill outlet and pay by the pound for the cheapest deals.
@@facemeltvideo right there’s two main thrift stores in my area Karm there’s about 8 of them in my town and they charge a dollar per tape rare occasions maybe two depending on the location
And goodwill which there’s about 5 and they charge $.50 a tape but my buddy who I collect with has a bunch of Goodwill‘s down in Chattanooga and Cleveland Tennessee and they’re a dollar a tape at Goodwill there
Well also hit up independent thrift stores and flea markets and yard sales when we can find them (but those can range a lot I’ve seen a lot of standard Disney movies that you would see it every thrift store trying to go for five to $10 apiece and they’re just not worth it)
The most I will pay for a standard movie is about 4$ if I’m dying to have it and I cannot find it anywhere
Unless it’s a new movie then obviously it’s probably limited edition and I’ll pay the 20 to 30 that it cost standard like recently with Willy‘s Wonderland
(Now I don’t give into scalpers on eBay I would rather bootleg my own version then pay 60 for something that was $20 when it was in stock two weeks ago)
