Definitely not “fed up” with your vinyl paintings. In fact, they are my favorites. I started working with vinyls on my own after watching your earlier videos. They are my favorite substrate. I do both acrylic pours and resin pours on vinyl now. And since you are one of the only artists on UA-cam who I see painting on vinyls, I always look forward to your new videos. Beautiful work!
I absolutely am blown away by all your vinyl work. I'm beginning to learn how to do this and unfortunately I have cracking on some of my vinyls. Not sure what the correct consistency should be. I would love for you to do a step-by-step tutorial on how tol prep, work with paint levels, etc. If you have done this please please direct me to that video. Very excited to see all your work! Thanks for always sharing
Thank you Melyd. My husband is the record painter. His first motive is that he can get a record for less than $1.00 and he an paint on rounds galore. First was the experiments on 45.s and then on to 78's. You have really helped him figure thins out to be a better painter thanks so much.
oh my eyeballs are in overdrive l all are so stunning that u have to keep looking at them lol ! I think I lean towards the middle one but not sure because they all have something different that pulls your eyeballs to it ! have a wonderful day and be blessed
Hi MelyD, they're absolutely gorgeous. I love colours, and the composition of them all. Fantastic job, they look amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your time, talent, and your creativity with us. Looking forward to your next video, kind regards Pamela 😘❤
👋 Mel. Beautiful. I think when I was first introduced to you you were experimenting doing the vinyls and as I’m a golden girl I became addicted to your art creative post. Hope you and Jordon are happy and well. Kia Ora from Oxford NZ down under.
These are so cool!! 😎 Keep them coming! What’s more popular, the paint resined or resin from the start with glitter & other embellishments? Have a good one! 😉👍
Not possible to ever be "fed up" with anything you're working on, especially your vinyls! Your first one, far left in the last shot, looks like one of those beautiful nebula or something, gorgeous! They're all beautiful!! :)
I also had the idea to use vinyls, to my surprise the next morning I came across your first video using records. They have been so helpful. I can't thank you enough for sharing your knowledge! 🙏🏽💜
Yeah, my vinyls sell quicker than anything else.. even though a lot of the are just practice pieces. 🤫😂 Hey, better to fail on a cheap record than ruin (ANOTHER) canvas, right!? Hahaha! These are just gorgeous... as usual, girl!😍😍😍
Love all three but I'm partial to the first one. The movement is just spectacular. They look fabulous resined and in the square frames. Thanks so much.
ya, they turned out great. I was thinking, as I watched all the colors flow off the sides, well, at least she'll have an abundance of neutral gray to use on other paintings, haha. That Golden paint is expensive, especially in the 1-ounce bottles. Have you tried the Liquitex soft body paints? And if so, how did they compare to the Golden fluids? How much of something else did you mix with them? Anyway, they all look great!
They look stunning I really love them ! I just just wondering how do you mix your paints. I know you put Gac 800 & Liquitex pouring medium but what are the ratios please? Paint to pour a medium ratio and consistency of paint ? They look slightly thinner than most pours closer to Dutch pour ? Also do you have a video on this I would really like to watch it ? thank you again 🙏💕
Those are so Beautiful! You are so talented and I love watching you paint! I am just starting out and I have an order coming in on Monday with my Satin Enamel and I can't wait to try it!
This is my first time ever commenting on anything about art. I'm an amateur at best but I've long been working on vinyl and I love it ,it can be a challenge at times but wat can't,right? But I wanted to thank you for some more inspiration, I would love to show you some of them and get your opinion. Keep up the gr8 work
Hello I loved watching you paint the vinyl records. I was wondering what size frame you use to put the vinyl record in that looks so cool I am in Colorado that's what we played music with when we were kids okay now you know how old I am anyway I think I will try it and I will let you know how it goes but I really love them in the frame. Thanks for sharing. Janet
So cool! Can you tell me your ratios of paint to GAC to liquitex? I assume there is also a lot of water? Would love to try this. I’m a bit of a newbie so they won’t look like yours but I’d like to give it a try. 😀
These are so frickin beautiful! I wish there wasn't a wait for your work, I would totally purchase one of these! Not at all surprised that they are in demand...
These are all up for grabs Holly. First come first serve. PM me if there's one you want. They usually sell within a few days. I have plenty more coming though so you'll have more choices :)
These are gorgeous!!!! Gives new meaning to the song "Take those old records off the shelf" lol How are you mixing your paints? How did you get the records to stay in place inside the the glassed frame?
These are gorgeous!!! My eyeballs are ecstatic! 👀❤👀❤👀❤ How do you use the golden fluids? Just straight? Or with the gac? Any water? I love them but omg $$$$$
Melt, these are fabulous! Golden is so great but somehow you make it even better! Quick question did you put the deco art satin enamel in the titanium white?
I am trying to do some vinyl paintings as well because I am a musician so I thought it was fitting! I love your frames, what size are they? 12 x 12 from Ikea? I love love your work!!

The paint sticks to the vinyl? I thought it would peel off. Very cool!

Fabulous work so inspiring 👏 What is the ratio of satin enamel to titanium white if I was using amsterdam paint as don't have golden .Thank you
If you are using Amsterdam you have to experiment and find the ratio that works with that brand.
These are straight up gorgeous. You add liq. PM... do you also add water? Whats your ratio? Thanks

Love the vinyls with the Golden! I was thinking..you can pour directly on them without Gesso?
They are beautiful!! What do you mix with the fluid acrylics? If you have already answered this on another video, please direct me there. Thank you!

Beautiful work as always. I noticed you didn’t remove the record label. How do you prevent the circular groves of the record from showing through?
I don't prevent the circular groove I love when we can see it it :)
These are gorgeous!!!! Gives new meaning to the song "Take those old records off the shelf" lol How are you mixing your paints? How did you get the records to stay in place inside the the glassed frame?
Thanks! These are golden fluid so pouring medium only. I stick the record with a glue gun.
@@MelyDartist Thank you

Hi! Mely! I Love your work! I paint on vinyl’s also but have never framed them! I just may try it! What size do you use ? TY

Hi they are just beautiful love videos ❤ what mix are you using with golden,
Soooooo gorgeous!!! ❤ How do you mix your paints???
Liquitex pouring medium GAC800 and Golden fluid
These are beautiful pieces. Do you keep the glass in the frame after adding resin to your vinyl?
It's a plastic and yes I keep it, it helps to hold
I am trying to do some vinyl paintings as well because I am a musician so I thought it was fitting! I love your frames, what size are they? 12 x 12 from Ikea? I love love your work!!
