- Hi Everyone
so in the video im going to show you how you can do a woven bail on a pendant or bead/gemstone that has a front to back drill hole.
i have used a wooden pendant i got from frac-it by the crazy crow
the materials are listed in the video but to clarify i used:
wooden pendant
1mm/18g bare copper wire
0.315mm/28g bare copper wire
Chain nose pliers
flush cutters
bail making pliers
round nose pliers
i got my tools and wires from www.Jewellerymaker.com
i hope you like the project, would love to hear what you think and see if you have a go at them yourselves

Hi Laura, great project and lovely wooden pieces, cabochon. You mentioned alcohol inks, I’ve only ever used them on non porous items , plastic, glass, plastic coated papers, ceramics. And they’re mostly transparent, I think the wood just absorbs it and you won’t get a blended look..but maybe you’ve found a way to use them I hadn’t thought about 🤣. And yes pan pastels are very expensive . But they do blend beautifully. I haven’t got any , I tried a friends stash and put them down when I found out the price 😂😂 Great vid. Thanks 🥰
Thanks so much for your tutorial! I have several pendants with front to back holes that I didn't know how to add a bail to. I look forward to using this design and variations of it on them!!
