I totally remember this. They didn't even have a full song... Just enough for the commercial. Then it ended up being so popular with people wanting it that they had to go write a whole song and finish it
Saw the Downy commercial and thought I'm gonna listen to this song. I haven't heard it since I was a child. While listening and reading the lyrics it made me think of my mom. I take care of her now. She is 80 and has dementia. She is forgetting her yesterdays. It makes me so sad. I pray she doesn't forget everything. She had some great times in her life. Here is to all of us who have several years under our belt. I too have had a wonderful life. I pray we can all remember the times of our lives.
I can relate to you Rachael. I too had a Mother that had Dementia. Sadly she passed away in January from it at the age of 85. It didn't get progressively worse until maybe a year before she passed. I took off of work to take care of her because she needed around the clock care. I have two brothers... One lives in another state and the other one was not well equipped to care for her so it was left up to me. I REFUSED to put her in a nursing home and kept her in her own home. I felt in my heart that she would have passed away quickly if I took her out of her familiar surroundings and placed her in a nursing home. She had a habit of just leaving the house unannounced which was the worst :'-( After that, it was what I liked to call "The Cooking Episodes". She wanted to continue to cook but would leave the food on the burner RUINING food many times. She also would put foreign objects in the microwave causing it to catch on fire one night. Then it was inappropriate attire... She would put on 2 or three sets of clothes and it would take an act of Congress for me to get them off of her. Then it was her ADL's... I had to force her sometimes to take baths because she wouldn't do it on her own anymore. I don't have any sisters so I had to rob her of her dignity bathing her and dressing her. But that was ok. I didn't mind. She stayed clean everyday, I brushed her hair everyday, I cooked for her everyday, and kept her safe from any harm everyday. Her sleeping habits got reversed towards the end too. She would sometimes stay up all night and then sleep all day. She remembered family for the most part right up until the end. She would, however, ask about my Father would had already passed away and her own Mother and Father who had long passed away :'-( Dementia is the cruelest form of torture for a person to go through. I had to watch my Mother turn from a strong, independent woman who worked and took care of a household into a child again. But that's ok. If I had to do it all over again, I would do things exactly the same. When she was able to focus on things, she liked to watch Andy Griffith, Tyler Perry's Meet The Browns, and The Golden Girls :-) She also loved to hear music from the 60's and 70's (Because those songs reminded her of when she was young) and she danced and sang to them :-) I'm a 52 year old man and I feel all alone in the world without my Mom and Dad :'-( I know that sounds funny because I have children and grandchildren. But they don't take the place of my Mom and Dad. I hope God gives you strength to care for your Mother with her ailment and I hope my story helps you in some kind of way. God bless you.
@@DRock6906 Thank you for sharing that with me. I applaud you for taking care of your mother. Like you, I will not ever put her in a nursing home. She was so good to me and still is. I am also 52 and feel very blessed to have my mom and dad. I will be with beside them until the very end. ❤
@@rachaelstephens209 I TOOK CARE ❤ OF MY MOTHER THE LAST 2 YEARS OF HER LIFE . IT WAS A LABOR OF LOVE 💘. SHE PASSED AWAY IN 2004 AT THE AGE OF 85 .SHE TAUGHT ME COMPASSION, GENEROSITY, STRENGTH. JUST HEARING YOU SPEAK OF YOUR MOTHER, I CAN TELL SHES A TERRIFIC INDIVIDUAL. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR MOTHER. GIVE HER A HUG FOR ME
Life is but a vapor. It passes by so fast and the older I get, the faster it goes. Remember to look around, drink in all the times you have with loved ones and your friends. They will become your Gold and Silver as you age. Your memories will become priceless. Thanks for posting this one
I'm 62 years old and left my husband 2 years ago because he hit me. We had been married 38 years. I still remember all the good times we had and will never forget that. No chance of reuniting, too much went down. This song helped remind me of the good times.
I just heard this as background in a commercial, couldn't remember it, Googled it and found a song I haven't heard since the 70s. Totally swept me away, songs like this truly make life worth living.
Thats true. Especially when you start to have trouble with your actual memory and as the Song says " Here Comes the Setting Sun" and mine is headed at me like a highballling freight Train ☹
This was my mother and son dance song at my wedding. When it gets about halfway, she started balling... Which made me start balling! I love my mom so much. I'm crying now as I listen...and I'm 52...:-/
This song gets to my heart every time I hear Paul Anka's rendition of this classic. The 70's era of music is just so superior to what we hear these days masquerading as music; with all of the auto tuning and computers; I mean, who can actually sing. I was listening to a classic Casey Kasem Top 100 count down for the year of '77 and he did a quick run on the 28 songs that had been #1 that year. And boy all of that great music from just one year was mind blowing. I was 16 back in '77 and hearing that TP 40 on XM radio I must say was nostalgic. And Anka's song right up there. Do you remember?❤
That was my song I danced with my father at my wedding. I remember the song from when I was young. Brings me to tears now because my dad is no longer here. I miss him!
I'm 51 now and now I understand every lyrics of this song. My mom has stage 4 cancer and shes in medication and I tried to remember all the happy memories we had.
same rick. I am 61 now.... time flies by and soon it will all be over. Enjoy life while you can and do not worry about small things that dont really matter

I pulled this up to settle my suspicion. The relatively low number of views is due to the way this sentimental fortress tugs at the old heart strings. If you listen to it, you WILL cry. Therefore most, though they love this song, avoid it. In fact I'm commenting while the video remains on pause.
Totally, I missed my parents so much listening this song. They used to make me sing this song, while mama was cooking and she’d hum along. This song is so nostalgic that it makes me cry…
We all reach a time in our lives when life stops giving us things and starts taking them back. Once they're all gone, all we have left are the memories
Thats not true. You lose alit if preciis THINGS BUT IF YOU ARE STILL ALIVE. YOU. ARE STILL. RECEIVING. DONT KET TGE CURRENT. BAD THINGS. GOIBG ON RUGHT NOW. SCARE OR FRIGHTEN YOU. TRUMP WILL PREVAIL. Is it just me, or did the seventies just have a completely unique atmosphere or feeling to them? Maybe it’s just the fact that I was a child and had less responsibilities and no bills to pay. I don’t know, but personally, I feel that there has been such a major change starting with the eighties. Things have not been the same since. Of course, many of those changes have been good, I’m just saying that to me, that particular decade ( the 70’s) just seemed to have a seriously unique vibe all it’s own.
I was 8 years old when this was released, I am now 54. Glad a song like this told me it is important to remember who I was, who I am, who I need to become before the inevitable good bye.
We take life for granted. Life is such a beautiful gift and so precious. We all hold on to memories, and hopefully they are beautiful because they echo and can define us..I miss the ones i loved and lost too. I wish everyone who responded to this video a blessed life.
We take life for granted because we dont value time, ours and others. You never know what could happen in the course of one day. Then all you are left with is could of, should of, would ofs and unfortunately alot of I miss you' s just look at comments😭
I thought about this song while driving around the neighborhood looking at the Christmas lights. I still live in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I made a point to drive by the addresses of old friends. They have scattered to the four winds: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Maine, Texas, Heaven. The memories came flooding back. The song came out in my last year of high school. It was poignant then, and the passing years have made it even more so.
Today is one day that makes you wonder how 55 years have passed so quickly and the many memories. Your Christmas s with your family as a child , all your high school years , your college and early years at work and thinking you will never get to see retirement and now it is upon us. Most of all-a beautiful song that brings back all off these memories and more When you start missing your family that have passed , you can dream of wonderful memories and not be so blue inside . Chuck -Knoxville, Tennessee
You are still a young man, Chuck. And living in Big Orange Country. With a ton left to do. We lose people, and that is hard. But be glad you didn't have cancer as a 5-year-old and then died before you saw 10. This song sucks.
I randomly happened to hear this song the day before my 92-year-old dad passed away in hospice. I hadn't heard it in years but when I stopped and listened to the words, it brought me to tears because it was so incredibly poignant. The timing just seemed so uncanny, as though it were directed at him as his life and his 92 years of memories slowly slipped away. This song will always remind me of him. ❤❤
It’s my very first time listening to this song today. Those who wrote songs used their brains, those who sang used their hearts, those who listened to them used their emotions, and those who had stories shed tears. Don't be afraid that the music is too good, but the lyrics will be in your heart. May you who in front of the screen have lights when it is dark, umbrellas when it rains, and companions along the way!❤
Thank you Bill Lane, Roger Nichols, Paul Anka for this classic. I recently discovered this song through the Downy commercial, I believe it is. The snippet on that commercial wasn't enough!
Many posters here were inspired to write because of that Downey snippet. Hey, how many of you Googled "Good morning yesterday" to get here? I did too. ;))
This has to be the MOST REFLECTIVE song ever written. I would challenge anyone who's been on this planet a while to watch/ listen to this and not tear up...SIMPLY THE BEST
It's 10:54pm on September 23, 2020. My wife's mom was diagnosed with a terminal illness just a few hours ago. She loved, and often spoke of, so many great memories in her life. This song popped into my head shortly after we received the diagnoses. God Bless.
This song filled me with sad nostalgia when I heard it years ago. But there is another perspective to counteract this one, as noted by the Apostle Paul: "one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize of God’s heavenly calling in Christ Jesus." Don't fixate on this life only.
Crying? I’m not crying...you’re crying...I...I have something in my eye! I just get it every time I hear this song and think about all the happy times.
I am seventy but life begun after 65 years . I am still active working full time with the usual overtime I used to. I helped all my kids tru college and even after when I became a grand dad several times. I enjoy every minute of it. It’s a beautiful life. I hope I can continue like this for another 10 years. In fact; I never want to stop all of these. I have more money than ever before. I am able to enjoy all the finest things that life has to offer. Thanks to the big breaks I get from my taxes for people like me after 65 years. You can be as old as you want. It’s all in your mind. In fact, I fell like now doing something nobody done before. Become a new profesional singer at my age. Things are going so well for me that I feel I can do anything I put my head into.
This Song Touches My Heart I first Heard it on A Downy Fabric Sofner Cammurcial And For some Reason whent Serching for The Person Who Wrote the Song Thank Mr. Poul Anka I can't get this Song out of My Head The Song is Simpley Saying that We should Simply Grab ahold of our Memeried of our Lives Beforr thy Slip Away I Myself Have Good Memeries of My Life Then there are Bad But I Thank Almighty God He Helped Me Through Them All Thank You Lord For Being there For Me Life is Short
It has always been special to me.. I turned 60 today and the lyrics drifted in part to my mind so I had to look them up. Of course tears would not stop flowing..reflecting on milestones in our lives and how fleeting they really are, though they seem monumental at the time. A song that grows in meaning to you as you age. This was one of the songs we considered for our Senior Prom theme in 1976. Some other song won Unfortunately: Stairway to Heaven!
Thank you Paul. I heard this song o a commercial and forgot the name of it. I am so happy I found it. I play this song. bout 6 times a day. It is my favorite song. Thank you for all of your great songs. I am 69 years old and listened to you for years. Your family looks wonderful. Have a pink positive day.
This song brings me wonderful memories of my mom and dad listening to this song and dancing in the kitchen. I miss them too much..but I do remember and I'll never forget.
@Paulanka- Wow I am so over the moon about your music 🎶 and to hear from you has blown my mind. I will never stop listening to your music it brings me the most beautiful memories, and my children and grandchildren love your music also. God's blessings always to you and your family. Mr Anka
Just heard a tiny chunk of this song in a Downy Fabric Softener ad tonight and it INSTANTLY came back! I haven't heard this song in maybe 40-45 years. I'm 53 and I forget what year it was out so I'm looking that up next! This is when I love UA-cam.
I discovered a few months back that my HS girlfriends mom had passed away and I found myself going down memory lane. This was the theme song for my senior prom in 76. So much has changed since but the memories linger and I suppose always will.
I love you daddy I danced to this beautiful melody on my wedding day with my daddy who is fighting for his life in the hospital with mommy with Covid 19 ... My Jesus, please bring them back 😢♥️
Cry every time I hear this song. Even when this played at my friend’s wedding I still cried and it was in front of everyone and I seriously didn’t care. Life is short folks, enjoy every moment.
what beautiful memories of yesteryear....first wife 40 years...remarried for 16 year......7 children 11grand children and 1 great grand child .....75 years old...and every time i hear this song a tear still fill my eyes....
This song reminds us that life may end but the beautiful memories lives forever and forever, "Good morning Yesterday"....thank you paul for this beautiful masterpiece.
Yea we all have the wonders of the times of our lives, Dancing with my Dad at my Wedding and saying goodbye to him out on a Boat one morning. Laying his ashes in the Big Blue next to my Mom, and turning around and seeing hundreds of flowers floating. Yes, we all have those wonderful memories. Thanks for sharing the love of your Mom Will. It made me cry cause I am a Mom of wonderful son. Gather the memories always.
When Paul Anka finally passes I'm guessing I will cry all day. I saw him live in the early 2000s and wasn't expecting much. One of the great concert experiences. A true professional. A throwback. A legend.
Beautiful song ! After losing my brother 21 years ago, it taught me to never take one day for granted. I am so very grateful to have made it 53 years so far. I hope for many more years to come. Will have to see what God has in store for me. We never know when our time is up, so make as many wonderful memories as you can. Make time for those you love and care about. Be nice to everyone and make each person you deal with on a daily basis feel that they matter and watch the smiles you get back from them. It will make you feel good as a person.
+cleaningtim I am a few years older than you but it seems like everyone around me are dropping dead, I have so much work to do because of death of family and close friends. I feel like the minute I get done--I will probably drop dead too. my family always said I spent too much money on doing the things I enjoyed--looking back--I do not have much regret, and am still working on my bucket list, thank you for sharing your story,
Thank you for sharing your story also, and for taking the time to read mine. Sounds like you are trying to enjoy your life, and I think if you have to spend to do it, so what. You can't take it with you. That is why you work. I learned recently of several friends I lost that I went to high school with. Too young to have already died. There again, it makes me grateful for every day that I am given. Hope you continue to enjoy your life.
Ryanne Ibias I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my brother 43 years ago September 21, 1975 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him in some way. I wish you inner peace.
The lyrics of this song are enduring... The song summarizes all that we need to do while we have breath... while we have this so-called LIFE....Its truth remains the same throughout eternity no matter what the generations may be. Moments. Times... They run through our life...When they are gone, we have something left to us, something to hold on to: MEMORIES.... and they are the ones we play over and over again. I love this song so much!
Although I didn't grow up in the Paul Anka era, this song seems to take me to a place in my mind that I wish I could stay forever. Beautifully written and wonderfully sung.
I heard this song today a far distance away from the TV. I remembered hearing it as child. I was 10 years old when this song came out, and I thought it was beautiful then. So l looked it up online today, and as the song played, I had to grab onto something, because the words touched my heart so deeply, I felt like I was sinking. I have the fondest memories of my childhood during those days you know -my innocence. There was so much love, laughter, and hope. The music in the 70's: soul, rock, country, jazz, blues, etc., was in my opinion the very best, and I'm so glad I was there to experience it. Thanks Mom for exposing me to so much music! Those were the days.., or should I say "the times of my life."
I just missed my dad more because of this song. Reminded me of just how hard life is for him but still looked forward for a better future for us, until he got old and weak. But when he looks back at his life, he happily shares it with us. I thank him for paving the way for us. I know you are in rest now, with our Lord. Where you won't have to suffer at work hard for others. Don't mind me. Haha! This song is his favorite back then. I just miss him singing this
OMG. Life is so short. This make me cry. A lot. A 50 yr old man. Crying. It depresses me. But I listen to it when my 6 yr old drives me crazy. Then I hold him so tight, realizing, I will not see him when he is 50. And I cry more. And more. And I miss my parents, and cry more. And my wife thinks I have a problem now. Thanks Downy, and your sad commercial.
You have a 6-yr.-old? At 50? Consider yourself blessed. While you will (most likely) not be there for his fiftieth birthday (in these times, who's to say?), you still have today... And each other. ♥
All I have now is to remember the times of my life for cancer of the liver took my young husband of 57 years in 8 short weeks. We were high school sweethearts. How do you start to live again, happily again when it feels like a tornado ripped through and took my whole life as I knew it.Teardrops rolling down on my face. Please pray for me that God will heal my shattered heart and restore some kind of healing within my heart. So I can somehow go on without my soulmate,my best friend,my lover.I think 3have cried a small pond over my loss of one of the greatest men in the world that I was lucky enough to call my husband.
Paul Anka is an incredible singer, and this song truly stands the test of time, and is most excellent, many nice memories of this song. This song seems to get better the older I get, but it gives you a little pang in your heart.
This song was on my sweet 16 tape & I remember being so mad because I didn’t know the song that well. I’ve come to love and appreciate this song. I wish I still had that VHS and could watch it. My brother was still alive and life was so different...
@@peterdicostanza7780 is she from Staten Island? Haha everyone here had that song on their sweet 16 tapes. That’s why I was mad. But then I listened to words as I got older.
This makes me feel so good like I'm lying down and seeing my whole life. Before my father and brother died and remembering all the good times we shared, the gradual changes in my life that bought me to where I am today. Life is really short and we don't realize how subtly but surely we are changing to different seasons in our lives.
I cry every time hear this. My life that has gone by so fast. My parents that have left me, my children that are no longer my babies and my wonderful wife who has not come home yet. This song will always be in my heart
This has got to be the saddest song I have every heard. I first heard in 75 when it came out and about twice since then. The lyrics are more true today as I get older and reflect on all memories of yesterday. Such is life and the journey continues, peace to all humanity.
This is everybody's life themesong,I came here to live back the memories of my most favorite uncle who passed away few days ago, this was one of the songs he used to sing, I can hear him singing this as if he is still here, I missed him,he was the father I dreamt of having, I always envy my cousins for having a wonderful father like him
My Mom played this song at my high school graduation party in 1979, I then danced with her at my wedding to this song in 1995. She is gone now but this song brings back so many great memories of my Mom. Rest in peace love you and miss you
When I was in my younger years i love to sing this song everytime heard it in the radio.. Now that l am in my 60s time, l still love to hear and sing this nostalgic tune, even maybe in my last breath.. .. thanks paul for your beautiful songs.. " gather moments while you may collect the dreams you dream today and you will remember the times of your life"..
In my senior year of high school (1979), my select group vocal ensemble sang this for our senior recital. It was so hard to get through it. Hearing it again just tears me up. It's so beautiful.
This song definitely brings back many happy memories of those younger years, feeling so much time is ahead of you. Than you are in a place in your life where time has flown by & you are reflecting on all the milestones along the way, & memories become so much more meaningful. Live each moment to its fullest, & Enjoy all life has to offer. Nothing Lasts Longer Than A Happy❤ Memory
I remember listening to him as I was growing up and this came out when I was 15 in 75. just to hear this, (and yes hearing it on madmen) brought back a flood of memories and it may sound corny, but makes me realize what a great life I have had so far. Thank God for these talented people and their music.
This was my daughters high school graduation theme song...how fitting......time goes by so fast... all you will have left are the memories remember the times of your life...
I guess i must have watched the same Downy commercial as everyone else. Always loved this song as a child. Its been many years since i last heard it. I lost my Mom a few years ago and my very best friend of 42 years very recently. As soon as I recognized this song the tears started flowing. I'm 58 now and I can't believe how time just flies by. This song makes you think about those times.
My mom listens to this song. I didn't know who sang this during my younger years. After the that downy commercial, had to google and took me here, having a nostalgic moment.
@@davidwilliamson574 I didn't know that, the song is already kind of tear-jerking and makes it even sadder thinking of how Michael Landon died and so young, of many classic entertainers are now gone and also how life is just so fleeting and fragile
Just heard this on a Downy commercial and had to look it up. I am 54 and was only 9 when this came out and remember hearing it on a Kodak commercial. My kids are grown and my parents are 77 and 81 and know they could be gone anytime. We went to see my mother in law last week and she asked my wife who she was. I hugged her and she had no idea who I was, either, or our children. Today at Thanksgiving she didn’t know who we were again. It happened in just a few weeks. Life truly is just a mist that disappears. This has all made me appreciate each day more and those around me. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of memories. I will treasure them while I can. Such a timeless song.
I was 13 years old when this song came out. I knew then that it had meaning and that maybe at some point in my life I would be reflecting with it. I wasn't wrong. Here I sit hearing this wonderful song with a life load of memories. Makes you cry and happy at the same time.!
We must cherish and remember every moment that we can, and thank our loved ones for sharing them with us. This song reminds me of what’s most important in life.
Hadn't heard this song in 4ever. Brings back memories of summer @ my grandparents. The world was such a mysterious wonder back then. Miss them both. Legacy lives on....

Old music with message is irreplaceable, for the rest of your life.
This song really touches the inner part of my heart. It takes me back somewhere in time, the memories are so vivid.
The older you get you may spend more time reminiscing and wondering if you lived life to its fullest, I know I do! (I’m 62)
this song really makes me cry, I remember the good old days when life was so easy, beautiful song. I want to hear this again and again.
My dad, Bill Lane, wrote the lyrics. Roger Nichols the music. They wrote it for a Kodak ad campaign in the 70s.
Wow, I remember that Kodak commercial when Ineas in Puerto Rico, so it was your Dad, incredible!!
Respect
Amazing Dad you had Don Lane. My favorite song!
Bless him... lovely song. Has much meaning to me...my husband has lost all his memories of our life.
I totally remember this. They didn't even have a full song... Just enough for the commercial. Then it ended up being so popular with people wanting it that they had to go write a whole song and finish it
Who is listening in 2021 . This is a song you never get tired of.
As the years go by you grow more and more into it.
I heard this song on a commercial and remember it from back in the day the words are so beautiful and conforming
Me! Great lyrics! Love this song! ❤

Sweet my brother, sweet. I feel your joy!!!
Very nostalgic ! Brings tears to my eyes ,tines we will never get back!
I'll bet your wedding was very nice.
To grow old is a blessing from God. Yes, God. We’re all mortal. We have to answer to God at the end of lives. 🕊
That was my song I danced with my father at my wedding. I remember the song from when I was young. Brings me to tears now because my dad is no longer here. I miss him!

I pulled this up to settle my suspicion. The relatively low number of views is due to the way this sentimental fortress tugs at the old heart strings. If you listen to it, you WILL cry. Therefore most, though they love this song, avoid it. In fact I'm commenting while the video remains on pause.
If you are past 50, this song will make you realize how TIME is passing.

Same here. Raised during the same days/times. It was a great time.
Reminds me of my younger days in the 3rd grade and my first 3rd grade crush back in 75-76.
I was 8 years old when this was released, I am now 54. Glad a song like this told me it is important to remember who I was, who I am, who I need to become before the inevitable good bye.
This is the HIS song. No one could have given that warmth that his voice did. What a voice!!! Wow!!!

What Da Dog Doin’?
I thought about this song while driving around the neighborhood looking at the Christmas lights. I still live in the neighborhood that I grew up in. I made a point to drive by the addresses of old friends. They have scattered to the four winds: Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Maine, Texas, Heaven. The memories came flooding back. The song came out in my last year of high school. It was poignant then, and the passing years have made it even more so.
The genius of Paul Anka!
One of the most beautiful songs ever written and perfectly delivered by Paul Anka

Agreed as to all. Turn 55 next week
You are still a young man, Chuck. And living in Big Orange Country. With a ton left to do. We lose people, and that is hard. But be glad you didn't have cancer as a 5-year-old and then died before you saw 10. This song sucks.
Time goes by very fast. The seasons come and go with lightening speed. Just have to savor the times we have and take nothing or anybody for granted.

The real story of our life although its hapiness, it's loneliness.

Hello ...Hope you're doing good and staying safe!Happy Christmas to you...

I use the KJV but close enough. Yes, we must press towards that hi calling. Thank you for maintaining proper perspective.

In fact; I never want to stop all of these. I have more money than ever before. I am able to enjoy all the finest things that life has to offer. It has always been special to me.. I turned 60 today and the lyrics drifted in part to my mind so I had to look them up. Of course tears would not stop flowing..reflecting on milestones in our lives and how fleeting they really are, though they seem monumental at the time.

Although I didn't grow up in the Paul Anka era, this song seems to take me to a place in my mind that I wish I could stay forever.
Beautifully written and wonderfully sung.
Wonderful song and lyrics. Your Dad, Bilk Lane was a brilliant lyricist! This song reminds me of the good ole days in the 1970s.

Lol 😂 that’s what brought me here!
I'm 28 and listening to old and classic music. And dad's at his 71st, turning 72 this 2022. Old songs got the best meaning.
while getting old. this songs impact is getting deeper...
Timeless! 💚 i dedicate this to my loved ones in heaven. Missin’ you all!
This song is being used on a downy commercial now.Can you believe this feel good song that makes you smile as soon as you hear it!💗😁
Makes me cry. It did even when I was a kid.
My mom listens to this song. I didn't know who sang this during my younger years. After the that downy commercial, had to google and took me here, having a nostalgic moment.
It's depressing.
THIS CAME OUT AROUND 1975 RIGHT BEFORE XMAS. IT WAS A KODAK COMMERCIAL WITH MICHAEL LANDON .😊😊😇😇😇😇
@@davidwilliamson574 I didn't know that, the song is already kind of tear-jerking and makes it even sadder thinking of how Michael Landon died and so young, of many classic entertainers are now gone and also how life is just so fleeting and fragile
Oh my! I have this song playing in my head from a laundry commercial. I searched so many artist. It is beautiful. Boy it hits my heart..... Love
Brings back all the memories. I can't help to cry when i hear this song. One of my mom's fave ❤️
