  • This video highlights the new John Deere 120r loader, 220r loader, and 320r loader. Watch how to remove and reinstall the 120r loader and how to remove and reinstall the 320r loader. You'll also see actual measurements to the height of a level bucket for each loader -- 120r, 220r, and 320r plus a review of the lift capacity of each and what loader goes with what model of John Deere tractor.
    The tractors shown in the video are a John Deere 2025, John Deere 2520, and John Deere 3046r.
    This video is brought to you by Good Works Tractors. If you're shopping for a tractor or attachment, then please consider us! Shop here at www.goodworkstractors.com
    The specs below were taken from John Deere's website and compiled here for easy reference.
    John Deere 120r Front End Loader lifts:
    754 pounds to 72" high at the pivot point
    520 pounds to 72" high 20" out from the pivot point
    743 pounds to 59" high at the pivot point
    580 pounds to 59" high 20" out from the pivot point
    The 120r loader will fit the John Deere 1023e, 1025r, 1026r, and new style 2025r. It may also fit the 2305 and 2210 if brackets are available.
    This is the replacement model of the H120 loader. The design has been updated and specs show it has slightly greater lift capacity. Although I wouldn't expect operators to realize any noticeable difference in capability.
    John Deere 220r Front End Loader lifts:
    1,120 pounds to 85" high at the pivot point
    803 pounds to 85" high out from the pivot point
    1,296 pounds to 59" high at the pivot point
    979 pounds to 59" high 20" out from the pivot point
    The John Deere 220r loader fits the new style John Deere 2032r and 2038r. It also fits the John Deere 2320, 2520, and 2720. It should fit the old style John Deere 2025r and 2032r if brackets are available.
    It is similar to, but not exactly the same, as the John Deere H130 loader and the John Deere 200cx loader.
    John Deere 320r Front End Loader lifts:
    1,598 pounds to 102" high at the pivot point
    1,122 pounds to 102" high 20" out from the pivot point
    2,145 pounds to 59" high at the pivot point
    1,649 pounds to 59" high 20" out from the pivot point
    This loader fits the John Deere 3033r, John Deere 3039r, and John Deere 3046r. It should also fit the John Deere 3120, 3320, 3520, and 3720. It is a replacement model of the H165 loader and 300cx loader. It will also mount the same as the John Deere H160 loader and 300x loader.

    Good stuff! That 3046 with the 320 loader is a nice set up and simpler to remove than I thought. Also like that the uprights are off the tractor and stay with the loader. Thanks again!

      It is an easy system. Can't stress enough though to be on level ground. I've learned the hard way....more than once, haha!

      My new 3039r cab tractor has the same loader, love it. But if you have the cab version, be very careful installing and removing the loader. There is a small bumper on the cab corners to protect the glass. There is only about 1” clearance from the loader to the cab.

      That doesn't sound like much fun!

    Excellent video. I noticed the "Knee" plate on the 220R loader is a bit bigger than the H130.

    Thanks. Best thing I got on my 2038 was the single point hydraulic connection. Just one lever and all four hoses hooked up.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому

      Yeah, I wish that was an option on my 3046r, but it wasn't available for the 3r Series at the time. I don't think it is now either, but I feel like I've seen someone mod a single point kit to work on it.

      Oh also....can you measure your bucket height? Curious of the level bucket height when the loader is raised all the way? Want to know if there's a difference in height if mounted on different models within the same series.

    Hello, Comparing the images of the frame mounting in your video. It looks like my left and rights were mounted on the wrong sides. My left arm keeps unseating from from the frame mounting. The right does not. I bought it new from the dealer this way. Should I reverse them?

    I know this is an old video but does that 220r loader bolt direct on to the older 2520 without any special parts?

  • @johnstaub359

    Why is the left front tire on the 2nd tractor look like tread is backwards?
    The 2520 machine with 220r loader.
    Great videos BTW.
    Stay warm... its in the upper 60's today here in Daytona Beach, Florida.

      Good question. It is more common than you think. I believe the thought is that it helps with traction when doing a lot of loader work (reversing a lot). Although this machine didn't have a loader on it until recently so not sure why. Easy to reverse though.

    • @johnstaub359
      @johnstaub359 5 років тому +2

      @@GoodWorksTractors was just wondering. I bought a tractor one time and all 4 were backwards. Asked the guy and he didn't even,know what I was talking about. Great videos keep up the good work, and happy sales.

    Do the new 2025r or 2032r tractors have a dual action loader valve or still single action? In other words can you lift the loader arms and curl the bucket at the same time?

  • @Buchnell
    @Buchnell 5 років тому +1

    The 2025 with the seat cover and new loader, the left tire is mounted backwards on the rim.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому

      Intentionally so. Not sure why folks do that, but it's much more common than you realize. Easy to reverse at any tire shop if desired.

    Did you guys move the toolbox on the 2025R down below, or do they come in this location? I have a 1025r and wouldn't mind relocating it.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому

      That is the new location for the 2025r toolbox. It's pretty small though.

    Can you do a comparison between a Kabota 2601 and a John Deere 2025 Breakout force and lifting capacity. I haven’t found anything comparing the two.

      Someday. I'd need to have both of those models in stock at the same time.

    Hello. Is the 220r loader from 2014 suitable for John deere 2025R? Will the hydraulic pump be efficient? What will the load capacity of such a loader be in this tractor? Is h120 or h130 better?

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому

      For the new 2025r? Only the 120r loader will fit. H130 has more lift capacity than the H120.

    Sometime please explain the exhaust vent on your 3046r. I know it’s part of the exhaust soot filter. Thanks 👍

    • @Formulabruce
      @Formulabruce 5 років тому +2

      I understand it to be a "heat" vent, not exhaust .

    • @mcavvie
      @mcavvie 5 років тому +2

      The “vent” as you call it, is the exhaust. Their is an optional pipe available from JD to extend it up, but has to be removed to open hood.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому

      RIght now, it exhausts out the bottom and it serves as a vent for the regen system. I wonder if there is a coupler kit involved for the vertical stack option that ties in the engine and regen exhaust?

    • @mcavvie
      @mcavvie 5 років тому +1

      Mine exhausts through the hood. There is a vertical stack available for mine. Also there is a kit to change the down exhaust to vertical if wanted.

    Hi I bought a 120r loader for my 2016 2025r. Dealer said they have brackets that will fit. I haven’t ordered them..After reading some info the 120r won’t fit. Is it just the brackets that won’t fit or the front mount or other? Help!

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  2 роки тому

      Hi, it won’t fit. You need the 220r, H130, or 200cx. If it’s a 2016, then you have the generation 1 which is totally different from gen 2.

  • @chadlayne9940
    @chadlayne9940 4 роки тому +1

    Regarding the 220R lift height difference... this breaks it down exhaustively. ua-cam.com/video/BYj8sWzvm08/v-deo.html It sounds like that ~84" is actually only at the pin, not at a level bucket. Level bucket seems to top out at about ~78". You can just skip to ~9:20 in the video for the final graph of the lift capacity vs height with level bucket and where he mentions the pin height versus bucket height. All those numbers are for NSL incidentally. But NSL and MSL both list same height spec, just different weight specs.

    I feel like the older H165 Loader's detach design is a little better than the new 320 loader.

    • @GoodWorksTractors
      @GoodWorksTractors  5 років тому +1

      I try not to list prices because that is something that fluctuates over time and location (dealer). However, for ballpark, the 120r is $3500-$4000. 220r is $3800-4500. 320r is $4500-5500. Hope that helps a little bit.
