It's so hard to find idols who enjoy being on stage and making their fans happy. It's like most idols don't even perform anymore. Some just get up there, dance and lipsync.
In there defence they do enjoy it then haters start to get to them and have pressure placed on them by companies. They like but there exhausted and they can't get a break or they get fired and i highly doubt they want that. Training for years and competing with friends who' you may leave behind to get your dream only to be fired because you want a break.
Minhyuk used to have so many more lines and tended to be in the front formations more but now he barely has any lines and tends to be in the back or in the side.. Come on, you need to show off this bundle of sunshine more!

That makes me wonder itself if Starship finally realize the succesfull of this two eras because the combination of Kihyun and Minhyuk voice. Now we take Shine Forever for example. I would say that's the best song Monsta X ever have. Hope I can hear his voice more in next album.

I think what happened is Jooheon, Changkyun and the producers actually wrote a song that catered to one voice type. For example, Fighter could easily withstand a part switch. It was practically written in a universal way with the same range that Shownu, Wonho and Kihyun could hit. (They sound like tenors and baritones) Minhyuk and Hyungwon are more on the bass side of baritone, so the music isn't always written for their range. Special was clearly written a bit deeper, and the words only come to life with a sexy, husky voice. So, that's my music student evaluation. Now for the ghetto, ratchet me. Starship got me fucked up. Imma need Hyungwon to get more lines. Like he is really popping this comeback, if y'all sleep on him, I'm throwing hands. They made progress with Minhyuk but we got a way to go with Hyungwon.

2:22 always kils me with Kihyun and Minhyuk's focuses... 1) the way they pop out at each other like "fuck with me if you want to." 2) Minhyuk looks intimidating for once and Kihyun looks like a kid that would say "yeah I'm a bad bitch you can't kill me" when threatened with death 3) Minhyuk is definitely standing up straight and Kihyun isn't. Ok, I know your comment is 3 years old, but I've finally found someone who thinks he looks like Himchan!!! I literally haven't seen anyone say he's similar to Himchan and I was going crazy. In my opinion he looks so much like Himchan it's crazy, his smile is just like Himchan's, but yeah Minhyuk's energy is incredibly high while Himchan is more laid back.
