Very cool and innovative. Love the fact that y’all are stepping up the game. Going to make the industry better all around; especially durability, functionality, and price points for similar competitors products. Excited to check these packs out. Thanks for the video.
How about a more in depth overview of the bags themselves like for instance can the 6000 compress down to a day type pack when needed maybe a closer look at all the pockets inside and out! Can't find much!
Hey Tony--all the packs come with compression straps that can squeeze them down to smaller size, when carrying less gear. It's not quite as elegant as a smaller pack, but they can absolutely carry smaller loads without getting floppy. As far as pockets go, there are some images on the product page which should help with this: www.kuiu.com/shop/packs/pro-pack-system/pro-6000-bag/62019-VC-OS.html
Where do you measure the frame from to get an idea from frame length. I bought mine back I think it was 2013. I’m measuring from very top to base and coming up w/ 26 inches. Not even sure you were offering different size frames back then. Just curious how to get correct measurements of frame.
Hmmm...I can't remember that off the top of my head, but could find out. What are you looking to do with the measurements? Frame length of the old frames won't correspond to the measurements you need to take of your body to fit a pack. If you're looking for how to fit a pack to your body with our newer frames, we have a tutorial that includes measurements: ua-cam.com/video/2VEV3LvGG-Q/v-deo.html
I don’t have a new frame so that’s what I was trying to figure out. My frame was when I bought the 1860 back in 2013. I purchased a additional icon pro bag a while back ago and going to be doing a few back country trips this year. So I was trying to see if there were specific measurements based off a frame from 2013 if they were all a single size (which I thought they were). Anyway, I measured between 17-18 inches at 6’ 2” and 190 lbs. is my frame size regular? large? XL?
A measurement of 17-18" puts you in a Tall frame in our current pack system (the sizes are Regular, Tall, and Extra Tall). I'm still hunting down info on the old packs but I am pretty sure it was just the one frame size.
KUIU Ultralight Hunting yeah I’m pretty certain it was just one frame. I think the 3 size frames came out w/ your current pack system. I have two older icon pro sacks that I’m using. So that’s why I was trying to figure out frame. But good to know current frame sizes to my size.
Hi @BeeHiverson - we make our pack bags at one of the best pack manufacturers in the world, located in Vietnam. Their location doesn't detract from the quality of their work--they make a LOT of the high-quality outdoor packs on the market today, and they are not the cheapest solution by a long shot! We put those packs on a carbon fiber frame that is made from Japanese Toray carbon fiber, processed by Chomarat in Greenville, SC to make a spread-tow ply, and then cut and laid up into the final frame at a composite shop 20 minutes from our office in Sacramento, CA. We know there are a lot of folks for whom Asian manufacturing is a personal issue--but for us, our focus is on quality; we're using the partners we use because they are the best possible solution. If it was about costs, you can bet we wouldn't be using the spread-tow carbon and local manufacturing--we'd use a cheap woven carbon and some cut-rate composite facility.
Good thing KUIU is smart enough to make whatever you bought usable with the new system. For what these modular pack systems offer, the price is on point to own all of it. You are one step closer to doing just that. Congratulations
I just got a 3600. Really like it. Prior I’ve been 1850 all the way for day hikes and light overnight stays but this 3600 has so much more utility and is not significantly bulkier, or heavier. Go for it.
@@hisdesciples I really like it a lot sadly when I originally bought it to go back county hunting it fell threw so I just use it for my white tail hunts to haul around my hunting stuff but I genuinely enjoy it when I do use it no regrets
Absolutely! Just select it as your country in the upper right hand corner of the screen, and you'll be taken to a version of our site that has the currency conversion and automatically handles VAT and duties.
The good news is that the new suspension is completely compatible--and the ULTRA bags aren't getting an update this year, so you're pretty safe in your bag choice.

ordered the complete 7800 setup. So happy with the purchase. You guys really know how to make a comfortable pack!
I’m very happy to purchase the Icon Pro 1850 in full kits. I’m so excited and can’t wait to take it out to the fields next year.
Love the dual pocket configuration on the front. Looks like a clean pack. Good job.

Best packs on the market. I own and use a PRO6000.
I’m glad I waited to buy a pack! Awesome!
Best packs made. So easy to use. Thank you Kuiu
Have the venture 2300. Great pack, but hunting in the mountains I need more space. Looking at the pro 6000.
Love the updates! Just what was needed!
Wanna see this beside an Exo pack. These are great priced.

Is it necessary to have the frame with the suspension on a 3600 pack?
Yes. Only the 1850 can be run with a suspension-only configuration.
Just wondering what the pack measurements are on the 7800
What size are the two packs together with the bow and no bow attached
Is the belt removable on the 2300?
Any figure out how to attach a handgun holster to the hip belt?
There's a hook-and-loop strap there for exactly that purpose (that, and other accessories). One hip belt pouch might need to be removed to make room.
@@kuiuultralight Thanks for the response. Any idea when you will get verde 2.0 back in stock for the bags?
We have more coming within the next couple of weeks.
How do they hold up on hard rainy days?
They are DWR-coated, and we have a rain cover available for true rain protection.

Yes, it will carry up to 150 lbs.
