What a condescending documentary
The choice of an Icelandic language country song is risky for many of us. Normally country is sung in English but Iceland is heavy in country and folk and rock. I swear the sisters are not gonna make it to the final.
Doesn't matter, there will always be Eurofans who will love countries sending songs in their national languages (and in France's case, going regional).
I'm so happy Iceland is sending a song in Icelandic. I mean France is sending a song in a celtic language. More countries should send non-english songs or more regional languages.

It's not like Idols. It's a song contest, not a singing contest.
Eurovision (from 1956) is much older than "Idol", Idol competitions (American Idol, X factor, The Voice etc) are all based on Eurovision - which is then based on The San Remo festival in Italy (from 1951) ;)
