People have problems with exes because when problems arise in the current relationship they start thinking of their exes but only the good parts. Keep in mind that most divorces are filed by women. Most ordered to pay alimony are men. What part of your prenup may not be valid in your state? Will you lose your retirement benefits too? If you marry a foreign lady, can she claim half of your possessions after 40 days of marriage? These questions are usually asked when it may be too late. I learned the hard way...

Of course, it requires discipline but being deprive w it coz its the man's preference? Oh no no! I would work hard to buy those stuff and tell my man this budget is mine and he must not stop me.
