It's not very mainstream! The musical content of the song/album/band doesn't really lend itself to public interest. Be it the lyrical subject matter or bizarre complexity of music, it not exactly easy listening. Shame! Everyone needs to raise their game. Deathspell have written 2 or 3 masterpieces and no one will ever hear them. Too busy enjoying Ed Sheeran humming along to his own guitar (hopefully soon with Dani Filth screaming in the background).
The best DsO drum cover I've ever seen, no doubt. This is absolutely perfect in every sense; every hit, every rhythm, every drumroll.. Shit man, this is pure beauty. Bravo.
The year is 2023. I'm drunk as hell. I'm triaging software bugs when this song comes across my Spotify feed. I'm air-drumming this song like a special kid meets a dog for the first time. I think to myself, *surely someone has drum-covered this song at this point* I go to UA-cam. I search *deathspell omega abscission drum cover* Lo & behold, GODsztof Klingbein has a video It's exactly as I'd expect *Perfection*
I love that you can hear the subtle variations in his tightness to the click. He's super tight, but the small drifts off the clock make this performance so much more enjoyable compared to playthroughs that are slammed to the grid. I really miss the vibe of live drums these days. This cover was excellent.
I remember the discussions of whether or not this was humanly possible and/or if they were using a drum machine. Well apparently it is possible lol. Insane skills!
You have the fucking skill and talent...so now a ULCERATE song!!!...the pinnacle of extreme drumming, not only on Stamina or technique but in the complexity!!
Can you do Fires of Frustration next? Great job by the way. Excellent sound, and it's so great to hear one of the better drummers out there cover some DSO.
I showed my wife this after watching it 300 times. She said 'I don't really understand what I'm watching, is he doing it on purpose'! How can you respond to that? I said: 'Nah, the guy's just hitting every drum perfectly by mistake.' If someone could do a better job of this then I'd like to see it!
Would it be possible to get just your isolated drums for this? I play this song on guitar and would love an isolated drum track to play to! I'll make a video of it too if that's okay
Deathspell Omega is the ultimate trolling band. Everything about them is to troll the listener, from the lyrical concepts to the absolute absurdity of the music. So unlistenable yet so compelling at the same time. Learning to play a DSO song is the musical equivalent to learning to solve arubix cube blindfolded with two fingers. Krysztoff here is a genius...
@@KrzysztofKlingbeinDrums Observe Nicholas Barker and Gene Hoglan, the sudden pause into blast beats, DSO cycle blast beats and don't use the general tech-blast beat you are using in here.
Yes, good, very good
Having learned the guitar part and seeing this, it's incredible both how technical and unusual this band's playing is
yea that riff at 4:28 sounds like the guitar is literally coughing
I don't understand why people can't comprehend the beauty of this masterpiece!

They are not worthy of it

Sick cover. And absolutely love your snare tone. Perfection!
Some of the best drumming I've seen. Hard band you barely see any covers of.

Metal is not easy to understand music, an offshoot of this style is even more difficult to perceive.
Nice video update dude! Great song option too. keep it up!

Nice man, very slick
