This is true about white farmers sis Portia. My mother's father was one of them in Botswana and he did that protection of the lands with a snake. My mom came face to face with this black snake one day as she was fetching water from the well, the thing stood straight up on its tail, she froze. He just looked at her and then went down and slid away. So it won't harm anybody who belongs to the farm.
