That‘s so true, horses are for example very good at showing their boundaries, so do dogs and cats…the one kick, the other bite and the last one scratch. It‘s wiser to ask 😉 thanks for sharing Phillis always like your comments!
I really do love older fur babies. They've lived long enough to know when they're loved, when they've got it good, and when people are trying to help them. Charmer looked positively content for his adjustment until you got to the REALLY boo boo spot! Hopefully his Mom will bring him back for a follow up to get more spots and relief. ❤
Charmer is a sweet, smart, and tolerant fellow! I was really impressed that he sensed Dr. Doug was helping and put up with the discomfort of the adjustment on top of the pain he already felt for as long as possible.
Great job, Dr. Doug. You not only helped the kitty dramatically, but you also relieved his owner of the stress of seeing him limp. What a wonderful Holiday two-fer! ❤
Dr Willen, Charmer reminded me of Sheeba. He hissed at you cause you very on his bad, tender spot and Sheeba hit your hand as you’ve touched her when she came out of her cage. I liked how the owner Maya said, “We’re not scratching people today, behave okay”, we don’t want nothing bad to happen to your talented magic hands, you know the drill already. Dr Doug, I’m always impressed with the way you adjust, the way you feel with the tips of your fingers skills 👏and no amount of fur or thickness of the skin makes it hard for you to do your job. You know exactly what that animal/person needs and how much hey could handle and tolerate. You’re absolutely right about even if you’ve been adjusted, you’ll see the extent in the next 24 to 48 hours. Thank you 🙏 for your breath heart ❤️, Merry Christmas 🎄 to everyone who celebrates it and Happy New Year 🥳.
This kitty was so nice. My one cat you can do anything with, the other...not so much😮!!! Thank you so much for all you do Dr. Doug and thank you too to Charmer's owner!
What a beautiful cat. He was very calm. He just liked expressing himself verbally. A little growl a little hiss. Not sure if he will give you a little kiss. He sure loves his mama. Thanks for all you do Dr Doug.Cats ,dogs every creature great and small Dr Doug can fix them all ❤😊
Charmer was really good til that last spot. Mom said he was already walking better so hopefully she comes back. Great job Dr Doug. Merry Christmas everyone 🎄🎅🎁 I hope you get all your hearts desires ❤️
Aww Charmer was such a sweet old guy to let you work as much as you did until you got to the sore spot. I hope we get to see him again. I had a cat several years ago that loved it when I massaged her neck and shoulders! Merry Christmas Eve Doc!
Hello sweet Charmer. ❤️ I’m so sorry you’re in pain. Your human mom brought you to the right place. Dr. Doug, thank you for helping Charmer feel better. You’re the best. 🤗 I wish you and your loved ones a happy and peaceful holiday season!

Oh Dr. Doug, your knowledge base of all living creatures simply AMAZES ME! To me, it all makes sense, ESP bc of the way you explain it all! God Bless you and I always look for the correct reaction to your adjustments from each animal! And cannot wait for your “How to Massage your Cat” to come out! Keep doing your great work!👍🏻❤️
Poor kitty. He must be feeling so bad. The therapy was going so good; it surprised me how he went relaxing and melting onto each section, that is until Dr. Willen got to the critical spot. It looks like he has a really stoic attitude and is hiding a lot of pain. I really hope the issue can be resolved ❤
I'm so excited for the cat specific course. My tortie cringes and shakes if i pet here back past her mid line. I love her and will do anything to help her be more comfortable! ❤
Dear Dr. Doug, thank you for instruction in pet massage. I recently rubbed my sister's 12 year old cat and he was very particular about me touching his head/atlas area. I was very gentle and just carefully rubbed round and round and then there was this little "click" noise. I let him walk it off and he shook his head, licked his lips then came over to headbutt a "thank-you" on my leg. He often has bits on his back that trouble him and by just using your method of very light trigger point massage on tight muscles, his little vertebrae will click back in place.
do you have the 'how to massage your cat' course yet? I have a kitty who would probably enjoy a massage. Much love and hopes that Charmer feels better and gets better soon.
Merry Christmas, Doc!! I wish you and your family Joy, Laughter, Good Food and Family to share it with, and of course, the most important ingredient of all, LOVE!! Your friend, the Retired Paramedic and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Dr Doug Willen, I’m from South Dakota and I have a dog with psycho motor seizures. I’ve seen a lot of your videos over the past couple of years and I recall hearing you say that the atlas can be adjusted to help with seizures. I was wondering how I can make an appointment for my fur baby Bentley to see you. Thank you for your time. Happy Holidays!

G'day Charmer 🙂 Hmm , your quite grumpy but I guess it's not any fun dealing with old age and pain ....I'm sure your feeling a lot better now though 😁 Merry Christmas Douglas and Happy New Year when it it gets here 🎄
Animals have to tolerate pain if their owners have no idea or care!, livestock , cattle/ sheep have broken limbs or other injuries that never get treatment.
Dr Doug Willen, someone on utube is on trashing you on the dog where you had to really do work and yhe dog cried out, i believe it was where the dog jumped off the couch and dislocated its lower extremities, just a heads up, trolls are real lol
Thank you Tammy for your great support, so grateful! I saw that few months ago! If this person has a problem, I can’t relate! He has another YT business model than I do.😊
Not true. I'm a 4-time cat owner over the past 50 years. While every cat is different, tail movements such as seen here indicates thinking. I've seen my one 7lb kitty stomp so loud you'd think she weighed 40 lbs! Two of my cats' tails would thump resoundingly when watching birds flitting about...that's excitement, not agitation. It's the owner who truly knows what a pet's actions mean. My one cat's tail is rarely motionless even when being gently petted (and she's moving herself every so often including upside down and pulling my hand to her because I stopped). In my opinion Charmer is a thoughtful kitty who knew Dr. Doug was there to help. Staying so still means he wanted the help up until the end when he signaled he'd had enough today...which Dr. Doug responded to immediately respecting this tiny senior citizen's wishes! Thank you so much to the owner who clear loves this precious little one. And thank you so much Dr. Doug!!!😊
He trusted you enough to fix things, and when he had enough, he let you know without actually scratching. I would say he was a very polite cat ❤
I thank I agree with your analysis! 😉
❤ to watch you respect the animal by asking permission to touch is something everyone needs to do. Animals have boundaries, too.

Indeed! animals can’t fake anything thank you John.
I really hope these two come back. This was a great video, and I feel like Charmer could use one more session.
Yes, I'm hoping they'll come back and Dr. Doug will show part 2, 3, and so forth!
