Evil looks like terrorists attacking and killing innocent civilians BUT evil also looks like a terrorist state out for blood and revenge, bombing innocent civilians that it forced into a concentration camp. So why does your description of evil only work one way Ayan?
True. I am going to add, that John is saying he approves of a people that has been in the land for 50,000 years, and after 400 years of inhabiting with them, still said no. What would God say? Would he point to them, and ask "what have you done with them?" How will you answer, after you were told to treat others as you would be treated, which the Aborigines are part of the call. How are you going to answer? You wonder why NZ always is adamant on saying no to joining with Australia.@@normanberg9940

Wow! How much do modern politician have to learn from the caliber and quality of their predecessors like John Anderson!! One can only hope that their mentorship and example impacts the new generation of politicians and leaders.
I would argue that this is making politicians are governments entirely redundant. This is demonstrating that we CAN govern ourselves. Why do we need government and tyrants to dictate to us when we are all responsible for and govern ourselves? Politicians and government have only ever created problems and conflict throughout history by destroying people’s ability to think for themselves and govern themselves. I think this new alliance has so much potential and one of the things it should do is help us all break down our programming that we need government and politicians at all.
@drewrussell - Good point. Add to that that we as taxpayers have no say in where and how our taxes are spent. Governments have proven unaccountable and nothing but corrupt and exploitative.
@@matildafaltyn6253 Absolutely! No matter how much people try to justify it, taxation is theft - plain and simple! The idea that we aren't responsible enough to decide where to spend our own money and that, without tax, the world would fall apart is ridiculous. We're all adult humans, not children. @@drewrussell Hi Drew I have never paid much tax as a stay at home mum & wife most of my life, but I so appreciate many ways government does spend money. Every time I go anywhere it is on a government built & maintained road, when I gave birth to my babies, or when I had to take them to hospital in the middle of the night for some reason - it was to a public hospital, they got a good education at schools, as older members of the family needed support services & care, there were government funded/subsidised services. I can't imagine what our country would look like if all these services were left to individuals to arrange & put in place as each one felt like doing. I imagine most people are like me & have had the benefit of using government provided infrastructure & services (roads, rubbish tips, schools, hospitals, aged care facilities, police services, hospitals, sporting facilities, etc, etc) that far outweigh anything I could ever pay for as an individual.
At last! Ayaan Hirsi Ali hits the nail on the head: They will come for us next. We've opened the gate and let a gigantic Trojan horse into our societies.
Fear. Fear fear itself because fear can lead the mind of any person to create a monster out of the “other” I am thankful that we in the west have allowed entry to everyone who seeks refuge from atrocity. This is love and trust in our Lord, even though we know that it opens us up to the possibility that someone harbouring evil purpose may also sneak in through the door that we have opened. In fear we tremble in awe before the great power of our Lord and ask that His will be done, not ours. We ask because we trust in the Lord. God is love. If we live love, we live who He is.

Jordan Peterson is writing History as we go. He chose to transform and migliorate the current state of affairs, instead of only philosophizing about it. 👏👏Bravo
These respected individuals, Jordan and his guests, are trying to catch, spot and define the rules in the "fast river that carries all kinds of pebbles". While being all thoughtful about why and what happened in the past, no one seems to be able to predict what will happen in the future, not only in hundred years from now, but the next year and the next day. Humans are so much the same and so much different at the same time. As life (history) goes on, humans are caught in many different positions with respect to each other in society. Human interactions are manifestations of feelings about their individual positions in society ranges from loving to killing each other. It is a kind of obvious that the power that groups of individuals gain along the way tends to be abused in a way that offends and torments the majority of human kind, that responds softly and sometimes drastically against the oppressor. It is a kind of true that one could not care less if their "oppressor" has an upper hand in life just because their great great grandfather was smarter and/or luckier at some point in time.
Great wisdom here. RE: the power discussion: “The greatest among you shall be your servant” Matthew 23:11 This is the only way to avoid abuse of power and the injustice and destruction that comes from it. Ultimately, it boils down to love for God and humans, which is what the Ten Commandments are based on. Love from God seems to be the only way we humans can behave decently.

I don't agree that it was a mistake to question the existence of god. Rather, we must recognize that if we abandon the religious framework that depends on god's existence, we must wrestle with and contend with the moral vacuum that leaves behind. Because we have not done so consciously, several terrible moral frameworks have rushed in, to fill the void. Retreating to Christianity is not the solution, any more than forcing women back into the home is a solution to the difficulties we face, properly accounting for all the domestic roles they once filled. The challenge before us is to determine what comes next, not to move backward out of fear.
Personally, I have been depressed for years and seriously contemplated suicide multiple times in the last few months. Even though these videos obviously do not relate directly to my personal circumstances, I will say that I genuinely am filled with hope watching these discussions. I have been following Jordan for years and actually seeing this ARC form now, as a collaborative effort in a courageous and hopeful spirit, with all intellectual seriousness and in a manner that is aimed at getting actual people involved and connected, such that it could actually bear significant fruits in the future and have an impact on culture and politics, is getting me interested to see what the future will be like. Even though I do not think I will be able to contribute to this project in any meaningful way, with not being able to successfully bear responsibility even for myself at the moment, I will definitely be rooting for you and hope this movement helps significantly address the problems that beset us now as a community and (western) civilization writ large, and pave the way to a bright and yet undiscovered an thus interestingly new future for everybody. Thank you so much to everyone who participates.
Thankyou for contributing to this discussion in the most meaningful way possible, by sharing your own thoughts and experiences. I sincerely hope you find friendship amongst those who understand your battles. God bless you.
I can identify with your disclosure of your personal issues. Thank you for taking the time to provide the insight. It helps to know that we are not alone with a struggling heart. I have battled depression for years and found out not long ago that the majority of it was based on poor nutrition. Started eating whole foods and extra supplements. No sugar or processed junk foods. I was deficient in many vitamins and minerals which caused inflammation throughout my body. I literally feel 20 years younger now after avoiding things that the government calls food. No medication was used. Yep... it was a difficult adjustment but completely worth it. Happy to be alive and healthy. Blessings and good wishes to you!

5:54 AYAAN says "Now we know what evil looks like...It's not only the JEWISH BABIES that they (HAMAS) are beheading, they will behead your babies, Jewish or not, if you don't fit into THEIR story!"
Her lack of distinctions really doesn't help. She's implicitly lumping Hamas and Muslims (including those living in Europe) together, as if people demonstrating for Palestine in the West are exactly the same as Hamas terrorists in Gaza. She starts the conversation by virtue signaling on behalf of Israel, relies on a victimhood narrative and is entirely one-sided in her views. Not sure she's really helping, to be honest, seems like she has a chip on her shoulder and a niche perspective on a subset of Muslims that shouldn't be applied wholesale. Either that, or she needs to start making some proper distinctions, rather than invoking negative emotions and implicitly associating them with everything Islamic/Muslim. I don't like toxic feminine strategies when used by the progressive left (guilt by association, victimhood narrative, poisoning the environment rather than attacking the target directly, etc), but not by my own side either. Other than that, she's a smart lady, so I just kind of expected more from her than partisanship, punditry and demagoguery. *Edit: I did like the bit about seed packets at the end :).
@@PeeGee85 I think your comments are very important. It's a bad time, when emotions are running high, for anyone - even someone as brave and inspiring as Ali - to start by saying "I support Israel", as if by implication the opposite also applies - when people could interpret "the opposite" as meaning "I support Palestinians" rather than I support Hamas", who are a malevolent subset of Muslims. Or indeed as if Western demonstrators, even young and stupid ones failing to understand they are encouraging the evil of anti-semitism, are equivalent to terrorists by trying (inadequately) to point out that the Palestinians have a background and a story and an entitlement to human rights, and to have their viewpoint expressed, heard, and negotiated about. As John Anderson said in this, the line between good and evil runs through every human heart - which includes Jewish hearts and Muslim hearts. (I think incidentally that Ali does not understand Nietzsche, but I'm certainly not claiming that I do as most people don't understand Nietzsche. They could get a bit of a better idea about Nietzsche, if interested, by listening to Jordan Peterson when he mentions him in his lectures, and perhaps by reading John Richardson on Nietzsche. And from Brett Andersen, when he isn't in the tragically unfortunate situation of one of his mental breakdown phases, as his sane stuff is brilliant.)
@PeeGee85 that's her experience. No one can take that away from her. I don't think she's lumping Muslims in with Hamas, but is discouraged by the support for evil terrorism from anyone. Some of my family identify with Palestine even though they are American born and march for the support for Hamas actions. They forget their Christian morals and values especially when our ancestors were beheaded by the same type of evil spirit. It's weird and sad.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali may you live forever. May your children be as many as the children of Abraham. May God bless you and keep you, may He shine His face upon you and be gracious to you, may He lift up His face upon you and give you peace. In the name of the prince of peace I pray, AMEN.

Replacing the madness of woke with another madness isn’t any solution. Preaching from the high altar of privilege with its own prejudices is another madness. Coalescing voices is playing to their prejudices. Society needs to move towards a harmony of conflicting views to find agreement on which everyone can subscribe and commit for reasonable change. This isn’t that harmony. From the outset endorsing Israel is creating conflict with Palestine omitting the long historical context of this dispute. That’s inexcusable.
I really enjoyed Anderson but his use of the no vote for indigenous peoples in Australia cheapens his rhetoric. Whatever side of that vote you are on “realism” doesn’t lack empathy.
Loved Ayaan's comment at the end about her evolution to adhering to Judeo Christian values. Even Dawkins has made recent comments about the utility of Christianity. People are beginning to see that values of truth and equality are not the norm and they crumble without a foundation.
@@Hoe-numan5Not true at all. Christianity tried to destroy indigenous culture in Canada, including indigenous spirituality. Christianity does not recognize or respect other religions. Is free speech the desire to dismantle and ridicule Woke ideology replacing it with another dubious one, hubris, or having the common sense to see good in all alternatives, humility.
The one voice, the man who should be hear, who set out the 'Conflict of Visions' so clearly, is Dr Thomas Sowell. He saw so clearly 40 years ago where the current path will take us. Before he passes, it would be amazing if Dr Peterson and Mr Anderson would interview him.
Actually, the challenge is to reconcile the tolerating intolerance conundrum. Soon we will need to decide whether to fight Islam which will require our society to give up some of those virtues discussed, for at least a period of time, to eliminate the threat. There is no peaceful resolution with Islam, nor is there a way to retain the ideal of freedom when violently taking away from another, although justified. We've heard Conservative pundits pointing out the dangers to the West for a decade. We've heard what they believe should be protected. What we haven't heard from them is how to achieve this other than, "We need to talk more about it". Sorry that won't stop the spread of Islam or the neo-marxists.
This was in no way complex? & I would even argue that JP’s attempts to pushback on a few statements made here were responded to with either some fable or other OR as ‘Churchill’ once said, or whilst out with Tom dick and Harry ‘they said’ Blah blah blah.
Aayan, you have articulated the difference between the God of Israel, and the god of Islam: the God of life and the god of death. You have made the change from death to life and you are a beautiful testimony.

Emm, I think there’s way too much highbrow theory and moralizing. This forum, to present any practical challenge to the WEF, must deliver specific strategic planning as well as street level policies. We should be way past moralizing. You need to focus. It’s we as commoners who need simple practical leadership, it’s we who deal with everyday issues who will put an end to the WEF, not we, as professors and moral theorists. Most people who are concerned about the WEF don’t need moralizing because they are already victims of immorality. They lost loved ones, their jobs, their freedoms and hope. They don’t need moralizing. You are just talking to and amongst yourselves. You are not talking to people who have lost more than you have. You will fail if you keep this up. Just read “1984” again, and you will see this is correct. Otherwise all you are doing is trying to debate and prove you are morally right. It’s not about morality, it’s about getting up on your feet, rolling up your sleeves, attacking the enemy and putting an end to the National Sozialistische “Party-inspired” WEF. Schwab’s father and his company, Escher Wyss, made heavy water for Adi in WW2, smuggled stolen gold into Switzerland for Adi. Do you not know of Operation Paperclip? Why do you ignore these facts? There’s no morality to debate. It’s obvious what’s happening. We have to use aggressive action not moral suasion. We don’t need to be persuaded and the WEF laugh at your moralizing. Who then are you talking to?
@@JordanBPeterson I am not moralizing. Our true challenge doesn’t involve appealing to moral sensitivities of people who are deliberately destroying sovereign states, civil societies, family values and the human race itself. We must stop pretending, that we still live under societal rules we thought we had before 2020. This foolishness is even more grotesque when many of us now know the pre-2020 world itself was also fiction, that we were all being managed, like animals in a zoo, via a world-wide false reality instituted by an age-old cult of psychopathic puppet masters. Psychopathy isn’t rare, read pages 232-233 of Lobaczewski’s “Political Ponerology” (revised 2022 edition). Also heed the findings from the Milgram Experiment, 1961. At 18 minutes, Ayan mentions that Marxism fails to deal with the human as a human. I have said this for years, that Marx's great failing was his lack of understanding of motives, as odd as that may sound, and of his lack of accounting for human behavior. People desire much, but few are willing to undertake the effort and conceptualization, even the integrity and honesty, to acquire them .
Ayann is one of the most inspirational people on contemporary earth. It's a miracle she made it to freedom. She may be regarded as a prophet in the future.
I don't know what you think this means, but it doesn't make any sense. Friedrich Nietzsche said the ultimate will to power is philosophy. 'Truth' is really an ambiguous word without much meaning unless you qualify what you mean by it. Your statement is idiotic.
Thank you Ayaan for having the courage and sense of taking a stand for a distinction between right and wrong and or good and evil not like some that try to b.s intellectualise a simple truth!!!
Right and wrong, good and evil, are constructs. Whoever defines them rules. They’re not simple truths. Philosophy needs a resurgence so this multiplicity of nonsense ideologies ends. That’s critical thinking and the ability to be cynical, skeptical, and question all. From that complex universal truths emerge.

Channel full of hope. Let’s spread it. Save the west. For our children, our children’s children, and beyond.
Bless you Jordan Peterson, you're a rock to so many, I hope the ARC takes off in a world changing way
These respected individuals, Jordan and his guests, are trying to catch, spot and define the rules in the "fast river that carries all kinds of pebbles".

If you were a little less evil your life would be a little less like hell.
Thank you for this discussion! Makes me hopeful among all the depressing news.
@@frozenpann Thank you so much for writing this. I am happy to hear that you got better and your comments about food are very interesting to me. Simon,
Your comments were moving, contributing and hopeful. DO NOT GIVE UP.
The earlier comment about WHOLE foods will transform your life. Specifically for me, modified Carnivore with a few select vegetables and fruits. I am 60, started not at all over-weight, but with almost no effort except a shift in mindset, I lost 30 LBS in a little over a month and returned to my 'natural peak weight' (which I believe is whatever you weighed in late HS to early college) and have maintained it WITH NO EFFORT for 1 1/2 years. I had all my blood work done a few month ago and the Dr. told me I have the health of a 25 year old (and I feel physically and mentally 25).
Sugar, Gluten/Starchy Vegetables/Bread and Vegetable Oils (which are in EVERY processed food) ARE POISON and the root cause of EVERY health epidemic facing modern society- Obesity, Cancer, Heart Disease Diabetes, Arthritis, Alzheimer's, Auto-Immune, etc. Goes without saying stopping consuming poison will benefit your life and will shift your mental well-being in the process.
Suggested Contributors to watch: Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Sten Eckberg, Dr. Berg, Tom Delauer, Paul Saladino.
Thank you for sharing your intellect and struggle. Makes you a Bad-ass. And after reading the other comment about Whole foods and your response 'you'll look into' it', I just had to underscore and double down on his point for you!
Trust me, it will TRANSFORM your life.

Hamas is homo

@keiththomas1416....There needs to be a world day of recognition for Dr Thomas Sowell while he is still with us .
Complexity thinking against bold, blind and ugly binary thinking, that’s 21st century challenge.
& I would even argue that JP’s attempts to pushback on a few statements made here were responded to with either some fable or other OR as ‘Churchill’ once said, or whilst out with Tom dick and Harry ‘they said’

Isn't it interesting that you say "God help our children" as though that's the last resort. God should be our FIRST resort. Teach your children about God. Tell them to pray. Teach them the command of Jesus "As I have loved you, love one another. People will know you are my disciples if you love one another." Read 1st Corinthians chapter 13 to them, so they understand what that love is. Plant those seeds, water, protect and FIGHT for their survival. Fight against the flood of lies and corruption. Teach them that Jesus is our ark, and if they enter the ark they will be saved from the flood. Your children may surprise you. They can have more strength than perhaps you realize.

Agreed
It's hard to take someone moralizing about moralizing anonymously with any degree of seriousness.
What an inspiring talk - commenting and sharing so it will hopefully make millions stand together in a new hope for the future
Awesome, these are the people that still give hope to the world 🌎 🙏 👏 👍...
Ayann is one of the most inspirational people on contemporary earth. It's a miracle she made it to freedom. She may be regarded as a prophet in the future.
This is WONDERFUL! At last. Sharing with everyone is essential.
“If there’s no truth, everything is power.”
I don't know what you think this means, but it doesn't make any sense. Friedrich Nietzsche said the ultimate will to power is philosophy. 'Truth' is really an ambiguous word without much meaning unless you qualify what you mean by it. Your statement is idiotic.
I’ve bin awaiting the opening of the ARC,this is exciting!
John Anderson is the best.

"true power is someone who can turn an enemy into a friend"
Lovely people but naturally just love John Anderson.
Ayaan's closing remarks are so good - 48:37
Oz stated the West is like a cut flower, beautiful with no roots, doomed to die. Ayaan said this is true, but what we do have is seed packets - in libraries, in wise people, in statues, etc; remnants of our best achievements/ideas, to plant, water, nurture, propogate and protect.
So good.

It’s refreshing to listen to well informed intelligent people …great minds..I wish our youth would listen to this .Not to the Neo Marxist demagogues 👍📚🙏
great conversation!
What Ayaan Hirsi said was so true. Hamaz ran Gaza like a death cult.
Who funded hamas again?
Oh, that's right. Netanyahu did.
Why was there a need to create Hamas in the first place?
Magnificent
Recasting the true narratives of civilisation in the wisdom of the best of the best is what we hope for. So to be able to purify ourselves of the corruption that has taken over the great ideas.
@@vivienneb6199Thank you for revealing your cognitive dissonance.
The wisdom of the elderly is just the memories of the mistakes and what doesn't work. Listening to them can save you a lot of troubles.
I can’t wait to see more. ❤
The Dichotomy suit. Dr. Jordan Peterson considered the choice this morning. :) Jordan, you are are fine man.

"seed them, grown them, water them, nurture them, and when they are attacked . . . defend them!" what a GREAT comment. Thank you Ayaan Hirsi Ali, thank you all.
Ayaan, is such an inspiration! She's taken on so much risk to give her children a better life than she had. This is my dream. All the speakers were wonderful, but Ayaan has street cred that slays!
