Did the Moab one March 19th, was lead car in the Badlands, got to do the sway-bar demo, get the Bronco into position for it. It was an absolute blast, my first real time doing any sort of "Technical" off roading. The guide told me I was a great lead, picking great lines all day, keeping a good pace so no one else rushed and got into trouble. Without a doubt the most fun I've had in years. By the end of the week I should finally have my Badlands, and I plan to return to Moab with it.

10:45 AC stopped if u make the size of axle side of CV really large & sde of CV tire axle side smaller u can get a partial magnetic hook up where u hve more movement flex give off road stye but in street mode u want dead center aligned best tigtest fit magnetic aligned. So u just hve to bring a rubber malet to the trail or after driving on trail & knocking it back to center perfect alignment in low magnetic setting for street use.

I'm excited May 1 Las Vegas Off-Road Rodeo for me and my wife. I had my 2 door Sasquatch Bronco on the front 2 wheels last weekend , my wife was outside to watch me drive down this drop off and forgot her camera so when she got back inside she told me both rear tires where in the air. Inside me driving I could not even tell. These Broncos do have some nice balance.

I was at Moab Off-Rodeo 3/19. I had so much fun and learned so much. It was an incredible experience. I’m a novice to off roading and this opened my eyes to capabilities I didn’t expect. My outer banks is supposed to be built tomorrow, 4/6, and I didn’t order lockers. I figured I’d never need them and realistically I probably won’t. After Moab, I now wish I would have just to have that extra cool tool in the toolbox in case I ever needed it. I had the only two door on the trail that day and it was cool to see the difference of the wheelbases of the two and four door. Highly recommend. I’m going to New Hampshire’s Off Rodeo a little later this year as well!

I’m happy to hear that you had a great experience. I also have an obx and off road quite often. I think not having lockers has taught me how to be a better driver and not to rely on technology, although I would like lockers now :)

@@BuckleUpButtercupTV I like that they made us do everything manually before using the options. It did make it almost feel like cheating especially using the trail control. I can see where it could diminish skills but I could see it being very convenient at the end of a long day on the trails. I’m sure I’ll be fine without all the bells an whistles. Lol.

    • @jackleechiii8408

Funny Hugh, I got my OBX back in January and used that same two door (white) Bronco at the MOAB Off-Rodeo (3/4)! We rented a very capable Jeep Rubicon the next day to take on Hell's Revenge. Although we made it through the trail, I wished we had been in the Bronco. The trail control (cruise control for rock crawling) would have come in handy! I strongly recommend going to MOAB. We were very inexperienced and came out of that weekend with a whole new respect and understanding of what off-roading is all about!

We went on a different trail, but faced similar obstacles (including a little snow). Amazing time. I would totally recommend this experience to anyone who's ordered a Bronco or already has one. I am still waiting for mine to be built (ordered in November 2021), but it really made me want the vehicle even more than I already did. Bravo on your awesome recap!

So what does the passenger get for $400? Bought a vehicle, I live near Moab and been many times on dirt bikes (can see my videos on that). Was thinking of bringing a friend but $400 a LOT...and I feel like I want to drive the whole time as I bought the vehicle. But to be a passenger, and get a "goody" bag $400 is a lot. What blows my mind is if my wife wanted to come why would she need to pay? The car is half hers, actually technically we bought it for her...LOL My questions that the video didn't answer.

I am not sure the cost of the extra person is worth the trip, they are charging $395 but giving a $250 voucher for qualified buyers. There is a cancellation fee too on top of the other refundable fees. To set this up for me and my wife it was $421. To cancel the trip due to high gas prices cost about $150. FYI there is a fee to have the Bronco transported to the event. You must drive the Broncos they provide. You can't drive your own Bronco during the event. Get the Insurance they offer (it is refundable). If you do not have any off-road experience you have to put a value on the cost. I have lots of off-road experience and I have learned to use all of the functions of my Bronco Badlands. Ford should cover the cost of this event for new Bronco owners.

It’s baffles me how entitled people are. That’s a really big thing to ask for free. There are tons of costs associated with an event like this. Paying well educated, experienced staff to stand around in the sun and teach people how to drive isn’t cheap.

Sta bar disconnect is short for Stabilizer bar disconnect. Ford calls it sta bar disconnect because jeep already has sway bar disconnect. The Ford system functions a little bit different-it can be disconnected and connected under load whereas the jeep cannot. Saying sta bar does not mean they don’t know what they’re talking about. It’s very intentional and the instructors are very knowledgeable.

BC if something bettr for on or off road on market why u lesser stuff unless it is an extra bit more u can get out off the whole, meaning it just not jack great as it sits unless not a serious off roder show pony car for 1 time u go off road. It needs to be like not hving a tire on 1 side disconnect feature or better already out there if serious at all jeeper.
