Maybe you can helpme out. I can not make a Blue Ray Disck with the Burn to disc app., the fold with the folder with BDMV has 7 sub subfolders, the 0000 sized 2.8 Gigas and the 001 sized 1.84 and the 0003 sized 18.87 and this menu window. When you play the disc you see pixeling the mov. What hell with this.
I have been using Resolve for editing and have to say I keep coming back to EDIUS. Resolve has lots of good stuff but I have more hassles with it than EDIUS and more problems when it comes to exporting. When I go to make a file in EDIUS it pretty much always works, but Resolve sometimes crashes, sometimes exports wrong for strange reasons etc (bit like Premiere too). EDIUS does HDR simpler -click the setting in the project and everything else changes to HDR - whereas in Resolve you have more to fiddle with and change to get what you want. Resolve may give a better result at the end, and supports Dolby HDR in the Studio version but is more hassle. So IMO Resolve has advantages but is more hassle so if you want a job done well with mimimum fuss stick to EDIUS. Of course you can always try the free version and see how you get on with it. I did do some videos about editing in Resolve 12.5 compared to editing in EDIUS/Premiere which are still relevant to Resolve 15, which you can get to through my channel.
You just need to download the EDIUS 8.53 installer and the EDIUS 9 installer and install and activate both. You have to use EDIUS 8.53 which was released about a week ago.

I wonder if makes more sense since can attach to some BlackMagic cards to move over to Davinci Resolve as an editing platform?
