A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications.
It says practically nothing about NVDA or even DeepSeek. The reaction of the market today wasn’t the result of in-depth analysis or calm, reasoned consultation with AI experts - the public did 5 minutes of Googling and acted on their surface impressions. It happens all the time; it’s depressingly easy to make investors stampede. The same type of “investors” dumped Netflix the *instant* they heard about password restrictions because they “knew” subscribers would leave in droves, or ditched Costco when they announced membership price hikes. They jump at every buzzword and headline, acting first and thinking later.

Strong BUY. Still early innings. NVIDIA is the dominant leader in AI and the preferred technology partner globally. Even w new competition on the horizon, NVIDIA is far ahead of the competition. 85% market share. 76% margin. Unrivaled demand for new Blackwell chip. Demand far exceeds production for Blackwell through to 2025 and beyond. No competitor has anything close to Blackwell. And forward P/E is about 33 (cheap for a high growth stock). Buy this stock and wait. You will be rewarded.
This is Interesting because i bought NVIDIA around September last year. The company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return last year, and I'm sure this year will present other interesting stocks.
I'm sure the idea of an investment-Adviser might sound controversial to a few, but a new study by Motley-fool found out that demand for Financial-Advisers sky-rocketed by over 42% since the pandemic and based on firsthand encounter I can say for certain their skillsets are topnotch. I've accrued north of $880k within 16-months from an initially stagnant Portfolio.
This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.
I appreciate the implementation of ideas and strategies that result to unmeasurable progress. Being heavily liquid, I'd rather not reinvent the wheel, thus the search for a reputable advisor, mind sharing info of this person guiding you please?
I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with ‘’Marisa Michelle Litwinsky” for about two years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
I tried asking Deepseek some questions that trip up other AI's like ChatGPT, such as "how may R's are in the word Strawberry", and it gave me a long step by step answer that was correct. So despite my earlier skepticism it definitely seems like it's generally an improvement over other AI's based on my own testing.
It's smart but it still suffers from some of these same problems - was just using it to learn code golfing tricks and it tends to not count the numbers of characters quite right, degrading with performance the longer the code snippet is. Overall very impressed though, been having tons of fun with it.
3:08 Just for the record - ChatGPT does do chain of thought. It's been known for a while. Deepseek's advantage is that it can do the exact process for considerably cheaper.
It actually doesn't really, they are just told to generate a chain of thought for the answer. You can put after your question to generate a chain of thought and get a similar result.
I think the power of DeepSeek is the fact that it is 'Open Source' like Linux and thus can leverage the power of millions of developers around the world to help train their models and improve the quality of the product. I think Linux apps should be much more popular than they are, Linux dominates the server market but desktop market is much more diverse and requires the ability to interface to a wide diversity of hardware and software.
It's user problem. Windows practically monopolize the office ecosystem, so user are more used to it. Tho in gaming, it probably gonna have a big shift with Steam using Linux as their base for Steam Deck.
The emphasis on having a clear exit strategy is crucial, especially after experiencing the volatility of previous bull and bear markets. It’s refreshing to see the focus on setting realistic goals and understanding the why behind profit-taking. This approach not only prepares you for unexpected market shifts but also keeps you grounded during the emotional rollercoaster of trading. It’s a valuable reminder that crypto investing should ultimately serve our personal aspirations, rather than just becoming a game of chasing numbers. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $200k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months...Thanks to Evelyn May insights, daily trade signals, and my dedication to learning, I've been increasing my daily earnings. The only companies that are massively hurt by this is Perplexity, Mistral, Open AI, and the like as their LLM models have been matched and commoditized. The companies that are unfairly smashed are Nvidia and all the rest of the infrastructure plays. When the LLMs grow up and start integrating into real world applications, those apps will need the computing power.
Perplexity isn't an llm, they are an aggregator. In fact perplexity CEO congratulated the CEO of deepseek. Perplexity are mow adding into their api selection. Google and OpenAI are the biggest losers.
Afaik Perplexity - somewhat presciently - opted to not train their own models. The others (Anthropic, Mistral, OpenAI, xAI) have pretty much lost their moat. DeepSeek's efficiency gains are free for anyone to take advantage of though, including the established players. Whether or not training/inference infrastructure is a good bet, very much depends on how much further model performance and algorithmic efficiency can be pushed. It's certainly not as safe as the more directly semi-related stuff.

As perusual very transparent and informative content! Thank you very much for creating this video. I do however question if nVIDIA's fall might not also be a bit attributed to the fact that they have been pumped like crazy since this whole AI craze started. Their valuation is off the charts and this incident showed to me that even the smallest irrational fear in the market can now trigger a big sell off in nVIDIA as investors flock to cement their gains before the stock drops even further. I don't think that the company will crash or anything, but I still consider it a very risky buy atm even though they are so involved in current AI machinations. Their valuation has reached dreams and bubbles terrritory in my opinion. Companies like ASML seem like such a better long term buy in this case.

The headline-grabbing $6 million figure was just for the final training run, and even according to DeepSeek itself, did not include the costs of prior training runs or any other costs associated with paying their staff and running their company. The real, total cost was probably more like $100 million. But still, relatively cheap compared to Google or OpenAI.

How were you able to make that much?

A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications.

Says a lot about a company when one piece of news can wipe out 17% of the market cap. All these chip companies are way too overvalued
This
Exactly
Not much about the company but more about the stock market euphoria
It says practically nothing about NVDA or even DeepSeek. The reaction of the market today wasn’t the result of in-depth analysis or calm, reasoned consultation with AI experts - the public did 5 minutes of Googling and acted on their surface impressions. It happens all the time; it’s depressingly easy to make investors stampede. The same type of “investors” dumped Netflix the *instant* they heard about password restrictions because they “knew” subscribers would leave in droves, or ditched Costco when they announced membership price hikes. They jump at every buzzword and headline, acting first and thinking later.
None of the companies changed at all. Just the investors holding them.
This is also the most rational breakdown of the impacts of this news from a financial standpoint I've seen of the 20+ videos I've watched today.

@@SirGenesis206 it’s not so much that they’re dumb, it’s just that they’re managing massive amounts of other people’s money, and they have to answer for where it’s being invested every quarter.
Agreed they’re overly sensitive, but makes sense when you really think about it.
@@SirGenesis206 yea those ppl making millions yearly are dumb, and smart ppl like you are here criticizing them
@@rationaltexan this makes no sense and is all the more reason why they shouldn’t be reacting that way. The bottom line is whether it’s beneficial, and the answer is no. The best vid yet on explaining crypto and associated markets. This from a trading intraday and short-medium or long term point of view. Amazing how DeepSeek came from nowhere to suddenly became the top-rated free app on the Apple Store moments before the US markets opened for trading on the first day of the week. Just like something right out of another Hollywood superhero movie.

Ask it who’s the president
Every US model can answer that question. It’s no longer an issue. Stop quoting old versions
3:08 Just for the record - ChatGPT does do chain of thought. It's been known for a while. Deepseek's advantage is that it can do the exact process for considerably cheaper.
But the numbers are more often wrong than with chatGPT after a test. The thoughs make it more interessting.
There's big value in being able to see the thought tokens too, makes it much faster to learn how to get good results out of it.
So true bro, but JC is too in love for himself and his stocks to understand your simple and so compelling reasoning
It's certainly not as safe as the more directly semi-related stuff.
that and the energy companies that was also a big part of this play - they are going to still be required, regardless of the pay to play for hardware

Just what I've been waiting for finally time to buy ASML thank you for the video
