- Lego Pirates of the Caribbean's Platinum is a nostalgic adventure! In this video I will be getting the Platinum Trophy for Lego Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game. Since the movies are one of my favorite franchises, I had a lot of fun getting all of the trophies in this game!

I'm pretty sure that's a variant of Jack Sparrow that is always dancing. You unlock him by putting in a cheat code in the extras menu

@@TheLukeyPookey I don’t member if he’s always dancing he did have a few special things but the cheat codes originally come from the Lego pirates the Caribbean sets you can buy. I’m pretty sure that’s where it comes from. of course you can find it online but if you want one of those sets you could just look on the box for instructions I think and it’s there.
Pirates of the Caribbean was the LAST Lego game to have the characters mumble. Thus why the Lego games are no longer as "simple" like this one anymore.
Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 was the last one to have mumbling not Pirates
Well, technically it was Skywalker Saga. Because if i remember correctly, you can turn the mumbling on
I always found it harder to NOT do a backflip when not trying to do one lol
This is one of my favorite LEGO game tidbits: the bottom right is Dancing Jack Sparrow who constantly plays the song from the Disneyland ride and makes anyone around them dance. To unlock them legit, you had to purchase a LEGO POTC set that released at the same time and they would come with a special poster that said "VDJSPW" which, when entered as a cheat code, gives you the character. It's a neat little tie in that I never saw from any other game

Fun fact: This lego game had voice lines in beta version of the game, but was scrapped in the last seconds of the release.
They may have done some early testing without the audio department, but I have zero recollection of that. As far as I remember, it was always grunts with no plans for dialogue in this game.
That minikit with pushing the rocks into the geisers is actually a puzzle to push them into the geisers in order, if you look the right the the rightmost rock that can be pushed, you'll see symbols on a pillar that can then be seen on each corresponding rocks location

Loved plating this back on PS3, aside from like Indy 2 Lego Movie 2, haven't played a Lego game that I didn't love.

I'm nostalgic for both this and the first Lego Batman game, as a kid I 100% Batman but was unable to 100% this game because after awhile since I was a dumb kid and managed to scratch the CD up so much it would crash upon trying to enter certain levels, and after awhile the xbox 360 I owned at the time broke down
this is nice to see since I had missed it as a kid
Tt games should remake this game or give it a sequel

Fantastic game, I got the platinum for it last year
so its a variant of jack as many people told u in the comments, u can unlock after finishing the sercret lvl with the 84 gold bricks on the left side of the map. hope it helps. nice vid

I keep meaning to do all of the LEGO game Platinum Trophies but LEGO Marvel Superheroes' story is dragging on so much. I'm going to go to the older classic games that aren't open world instead for the time being.
I had the exact same thing on the Wii in the level with Blackbeard. It crashed so many times before I could finish it😭

When you say streaming on PlayStation plus how do you get that option for ps3 games like Lego pirates of the Caribbean btw cause I have PlayStation plus deluxe and I live in Australia and when I prompt search a ps3 game like Lego pirates of the Caribbean it doesn’t show up anything but no results found for the pacific game I also play on ps5 so I ain’t sure if it only works like that on ps3 with the subscription or not

I FRICKIN LOVE THIS GAME! It's my damn childhood! This game literally introduced me to the potc movies/franchise and ill never regret it for doing so🥹! So it's awesome to see a modern, 2020s video about the game! I hope it gets a remastered re-release for PS5 and Xbox SX|S. they did it for epic mickey (another childhood game of mine), so why not this as well!💯
