Organising the items in the same order as the online shop means you have to remember the order on the computer. I think you should organise in sections. For example: refrigerated section, freezer section, shelves section (this could be organised according to the type of food.) I think this would be easier than remembering the order of the products on the computer.

If you want to cheat you can do that as well. If someone buys with a credit card, after it is inserted in the card reader and BEFORE you type in the amount to be charged, pick up the register counter and move it. The customer will disappear and you can charge that card over and over. This is to say if the devs haven't fixed this issue. You can also pack up your registers into boxes at the end of the day, so you have no registers, and when you start the new day you will have an extra register. Again, if the devs haven't fixed this issue. Of course, it isn't as much grinding fun if you use the hacks, huh? :)
I realize the video is months old, BUT, I think you should put all the refrigerators in an L shape. Or at least a row on each wall. Also I would buy corner shelves.
In my supermarket I have made little isles so my storage is sorted by isle...but the sea food I got is so much expnesive so I;m always so low on money!!
