a pencil using eraser can help reach the eyes. great review. I personally sold hot toys and grabbed this one. only cape downside great figure. the back of box moving up and down the red cover make the bats fly very cool as well. figure feels so durable amazing inart is awesome
You're the right man to do a review of this figure. I like the quality of your videos, poses, camera angles, etc. Many other reviewers can have any new release but there's always somethig missing to really appreciate what they want to show.
The cape Onesixthkit is selling that you mentioned is a great upgrade. Drapes down well and lays naturally. It's compatible with HT and INART. Using it for my HT Batman and very satisfied with it.
So happy I kept my order I have both and I don’t know why people say the hot toys heads better In hand the inart is superior everywhere best 1/6 figure I own by far
I really have always struggled to see the likeness in this one, this video is the best that cowl head has ever looked. I really like the suit but struggled with the rest of it. I have the HT but would have also gotten this if it that likeness had been consistently there. I am slightly more tempted after this video.
I'm soo with you Dean on this one, Begins suit is numero uno for me too, nothing will ever top that, but this is a close 2nd. Loved your review, fingers crossed mine will come soon.
I love the off-the-shelf aesthetic and practicality of this suit, however when it comes to fantasy and fear factor, the 'Begins' suit absolutely creams this.
One things for certain, this iteration of Batman will never have to upgrade the armour on this suit, after all it can protect him point blank bomb blasts, even his exposed chops, head-first collisions into bridges/buses, shotgun and machine gun fire...
Not gonna lie bro i was so excited for Justins review of this figure and it wasn't that good i feel he rushed it lol you on the other hand did this figure justice truly the best review ive seen of this figure i can not wait until my copy arrives also thank you Logan
Thank you! I enjoy Justin's reviews, and he's responsible for me sending a lot of money 😅 I think we need His reviews in his style and my Reviews in my style 👍 Best of both worlds.
@@deanknight333 agreed yall both the GOATS honestly real talk man idk why people aren't doing the figure justice like you did 😭 Inart not sending you a sample is a crime 🤦🏻♂️
Dean, from a creative, stylistic and resourceful point of view, is the communities equivalent of an early John Carpenter or James Cameron, whereas Justin is more of a "studio" kind of guy, modern Disney. Basically, high quality indie Vs a more corporate kind of product.
I appreciate your style. I hope Inart does link with you. You deserve it. I may be letting go of my Batman preorder. I've hit a tough spot financially and I'm unsure when the time comes if I'll be able to afford to get it.
The figure is stunning for sure. The Robert Pattinson likeness is perfect. The eyes have a nice sense of realism and life. The skin texture and tone are flawless. I really like the helmeted head sculpt as well. The stubble has been nicely done. The rooted hair looks great. This is definitely one of the best Batman suits of all-time. It's that good. The body proportions are on point. However, it's unfortunate that the cape is as bad as it is. I don't like it either. I don't know why so many companies struggle so much when it comes to making Batman's cape. The display stand's magnet is rather weak. Other than those two issues, this is a high quality figure on the part of Inart. It looks so realistic. The overall sculpt, paint application, and details are top notch. Amazing photography by the way. It's unfortunate that Inart wouldn't send you a figure to review, especially since they sent it to a lot of other people. Maybe next time they'll send you something, God willing. Thanks, Dean! I appreciate the hard work, dedication, and passion! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
Congrats on popping your in-art cherry 😂😂 🍒 Yes they definitely stand up to the hype. I was able to get their Joker and if you see my review, We are both OG hot toys collectors. So when I got an inart figure, I knew the quality was there. When I first heard of this movie and who was going to play Batman I was so against it. But I actually liked the film. There are many reasons why I don't have this guy in my collection. 1. You know my situation as far as having an income. 2. I don't have the space anymore like I used to. 3. I don't have the money, I don't have to cash, 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

27:51 - holy shit that’s basically a movie still. This Batman shines best in the dark. Light boxes are just all over the place reflecting lights from all sorts of places making it look unpleasant. Inart def should’ve sent a sample at the very least even if they asked for a return later
Thank you, Dean! Great review. Looking forward to getting mine from Kit. Hope you snag one sooner rather than later. And cheers to Logan for the loan that made your review possible - John
This video is insane! Really excellent. I have this figure and it’s so damned hard to capture how good it is, but you smashed it. Couple of issues with the figure which you mentioned. The cape, it’s just too big! The eyes are an issue, I have no idea why they move independently. Would be good to have a small device which clips onto the back of the eyes and keeps them perfectly in line. You showed how weak the magnets were at the beginning, I don’t have that issue at all. They’re very strong.
Hey, nice work on the lighting and poses. Also, nice work not-complain complaining. This video would sure make up INARTs mind to give you a early release for their next figure.
A big thanks to Logan, awesome review Dean, I'm gonna have to track down one of these now lol. I really hope Inart gives us a Batman Begins figure. A Begins figure at this level of artistic detail would be truly EPIC!!
That's a shame with InArt considering your love of the Bat, your striving for perfection and that it was Batman that started your collection.....shame they clipped you like that 🍷😏🔥
This figure is stunning. Hes got actual hair 😱. He looks so life like not perfect but they give hot toys a run for money with their batman figure. Great review dean!
It's not too late Inart!! I know you have people reading through the comments. Come to your senses!! Send Dean ALL of your figures, get the Knight to show them off in the best light!!

INART is missing a big opportunity don’t giving you a chance to show us theirs figures. Your way to show us is the best one in the UA-cam! I will by this now because of this video.
About the cape... I've always thought it was ridiculous that in the film, Batman walked straight through the front entrance of the nightclub, and picked a fight with armed guards and putting the clubbers in danger. There should have been a scene with Batman gliding around the building looking for a discreet way in, or having him perched on the top of the building and dropping floor by floor, using the cape to break his fall.
I think it's hard for people to see characters not be perfect. Take Zacks Superman.....he wanted to show us the journey Superman had to become Superman. He doesn't start out with the ideology of Superman. He has to learn that through his journey. Similarly, a young Batman has to learn and grow into Batman. He learns from his actions just as we do.
@@breakingthenorm3259 Not at all. I don't expect Batman to not make mistakes, and be "perfect", but I do expect him to have a modicum of good sense. Throughout the film, we see this Batman making extremely *foolish decisions, decisions that the average guy on the street would never make. Batman is supposed to be extremely clever, but sadly, the writers are nowhere near as bright as the characters they are writing. Also, this Batman might be good at solving riddles and sneaking up on Catwoman, but he is terrible at sneaking up on his enemies. * Here's just a few: - As I've already mentioned, Batman walking straight into a potentially hostile location (the nighclub) without carefully canvassing first, looking for a more discreet way in. - Batman standing right in front of a man who has bomb strapped to his face, a bomb that's literally seconds away from detonation, and then allowing himself to be blown up. - Batman abandoning Gordon, who's significantly outnumbered and outgunned, to chase Penguin, the pair then cause immense chaos on the roads, and most likely many deaths, and then Batman (and Gordon) letting Penguin go after a. he and his goons opened fire on them, b. were caught dealing large quantities of drugs, and c. Penguin's car having the body of a young woman in the back boot?? - Batman placing explosives on the GLASS roof of Gotham Gardens when there are many civilians below?? Talk about style over substance. The film has many great things going for it: the atmosphere, its depiction of Gotham (the best it's ever looked imo), the cast, the soundtrack, the idea to have Batman, "the Worlds Greatest Detective", actually doing just that. Had the writing been been better - tighter, more consistent, and smarter, I genuinely believe that this could have been a genuine masterpiece, and Batmans finest cinematic outing to date.
@@breakingthenorm3259 "Take Zacks Superman.....he wanted to show us the journey Superman had to become Superman. He doesn't start out with the ideology of Superman. He has to learn that through his journey" A nice idea in practice, but it was terribly executed. I am very ambivalent when it comes to MOS, I consider it a decent sci-fi film, but a terrible Superman film, one which is extremely nihilistic, full of contradictions, and doesn't understand the characters at all. Snyder, and the MOS/BvS writers, utterly bastardized Jonathan, Martha ("you don't owe them anything Clark") and Clark. Superman isn't Super just because of his powers, it's because of his character, and the very wholesome upbringing he had with the Kent's. His character, his qualities, were instilled in him from a very young age, and further reinforced by Jor El when Clark entered the FOS in his late teens. Sure, he had room to grow with experience, but the fundamentals, the very things which make him Superman, were locked in early on. It's been a while since I've seen MOS, yet despite this, I can still recall, with clarity, the many scenes which are so at odds with the source material; i.e. Jonathan suggesting to a young Clark that perhaps he shouldn't have saved the bus full of school kids; a very petulant Clark telling Jonathan that he isn't his dad - dismissing that Jonathan and Martha had raised him from an infant; Jonathan telling Clark not to save him, and Clark obeying him?? These are things Clark would never do. It suggests, and shows us, that this version of the Kent's didn't do a great job in raising him. Now I get it, this version of Jonathan wants to keep Clark's secret hidden, but Jonathan Kent as he was created, written, and subsequently written by those who respect and adhere to the source material, would never allow a person, never mind many people, to die in order to preserve Clark's secret. In doing, or suggesting this, this Jonathan has failed, and this could explain why this Clark is so reckless, seemingly choosing at will when to be careful and when to not give a damn about collateral damage - flying into a petrol stations fuel tanks with Zod for instance. One of the best, and most profund, lines in Superman 1978, is: "All those things I can do, all those POWERS and I couldn't even save him". This was completely lost on Snyder. There's so much more I could say on this, but I'll spare you of this. Mauler/Mooler and his EFAP team did a great job in cataloguing the films many issues.
Putting the product to the side i dont like inart practices. Influencer batches, qc issues and the timeframe for everyone who ordered to get theirs. I day one ordered this and still havent got it. Guess i need a youtube channel with 500k subscribers id probably have it. But anyways love your videos great production as always keep up the good work
It’s unlicensed in most regions, so technically most shouldn’t even have it. Most should be lucky we have third party retailers and resellers that are able obtain this product for us. Most of the wait time is also contingent on the third party retailer we went through.
Fantastic review Dean. I’m so glad you managed to get a hold of a copy. I agree with you 100% on the cape, it feels lovely, and looks really nice, but there’s just so much of it! The drape cape from OSK is fantastic, and a drape should’ve been included with the figure. Also, yeah, some of those early reviews did not show this in the best light, at all. I saw images of the cape poking up out of the chest piece and everything. Inart actually shared those images as well. They made it look terrible. You’ve done a great job here mate, and good job Logan mate, very trusting of you to send this over to Dean to review 🙌🏻 👏🏻
They were also not aligning the eyes properly, or not having them in synch with the poses and faceplates, and probably worst of all, were not seating the faceplates properly, making the nose appear too low and elongating the face.
@@dangiambrone7350 yeah man, exactly! They were just not taking that extra couple of minutes to line everything up before shooting something that probably hundreds if not thousands of people will see online. Just shows you that the main focus was getting the images/footage up as quickly as possible for the clout and the views, without taking the care and attention to make the figure actually look good. Some of the early reviews and images objectively made the figure look worse.
Looks good Dean , in not a fan of this particular batman only because i just prefer Bale Batman . I guess of i really wanted this version ill just grab the Hot Toys piece at 1/3 the cost.
That just makes absolutely zero sense. I just re watched that scene, and there is no way a simple hanging piece of material would completely change into a wing suit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤔🤣🤣🤣🤦🤣🤣🤣
They're not exactly helping themselves are they? It's foolish on so many levels. Obviously there's the exceptional quality of Dean's videos, but it would also make sense to have their man in the UK, as they have with Justin in Australia, Jedha in the US, the Devil (forgot his bloody name) in France...
@@dangiambrone7350 Virtual Devil, that's the name you're searching, with Samuel as his real name🤣 but just calling him the Devil is enough, if you want the opinion of a frenchman directly x)
Inart made a mistake by not providing you with a sample for review and showcase. Your channel is the only one I still follow in the figure-related niche, as I find the others to be boring and insincere. Keep up the great work!
Inart's "influencer" selection policy, their prerequisites, do not make any sense. I can understand them choosing the likes of Justin and Jedha because they have large followings and are good reviewers, but there are others - who are nice guys, but it should really be about skill-sets and merit, as well as character - that have around 10k subs, or less, and are very average reviewers (simple assessments, weak photography and posing etc). In just the opening minutes, Dean's image quality and lighting, has shown this figure off to the max; I've never seen it look so detailed, and in proportion, so realistic. This is the only footage where his other faceplates not only look good, they look fantastic and on par with the default chops. Inart's John has frequently told the community that the primary reasons for having the influencers is for boosting the profile of their business and to obtain feedback in order to assist QC. I can't think of anyone better than Dean to do both. So why are they being so awkward? Perhaps it's because Dean prioritizes his viewers over corporations, and tells us exactly what he thinks, instead of gushing and papering over the cracks? That Dean is more like The Critical Drinker, and not the Grace Randolph they want him to be?
Even if it's not a perfect Battinson figure, it is a really good figure; which makes me feel more frustrated that InArt has turned out to be such a scummy company.
Dear INART, (or any other company who may be reading this) This channel's reviews have convinced me to purchase approximately 14 figures I wouldn't have otherwise purchased over the years while no other channel has convinced me to purchase a single one I didn't already have my eye on. If Dean Knight here would have shown me this video months ago I would have purchased your figure without hesitation over the Hot Toys. This message was written by my own free will and is not a paid advertisement.
There are figure reviews, and then there are Un-biased figure reviews. Dean Knight reviews are some of the most detailed, fair and unbiased on the internet. Huge mis-step on the part of Inart, but at least we now know that they are curating their products reviews and possible censoring anything they don't want the customers and the community to know. That alone is enough to make me not want to support their company, regardless of how the figures may be. Keep being great Dean, your transparency is a gift to the entire collecting community 👍 Cheers 🍻
Can you be more specific? Is it the accuracy of the cowl, or the likeness in the eyes and faceplates? It looks near perfect to me, the footage around the 10 minute mark looks so damn good.
It's interesting that you perceived what Dean said in that way. I took it as Dean seeing how good this figure is in hand and contrasting it with how average it has appeared in many reviews, even in Inart's own photos, which gives false impressions. It's been almost to the extent that it can come across as self sabotaging. I see it as a case of quid-pro-quo, something which can be mutually beneficial, and more because footage like this, footage which gives a much better idea as to what to expect in-hand, can put a lot of collectors minds at rest and provide solid material for comparison debates.
@@deanknight333 Not sure what that’s supposed to mean. But I had second hand embarrassment for your pitiful antics and begging for free merch.
Thanks for making me realise inart is worth it compared to hot toys. Sticking with my inart red suit joker.
Great video Dean. It's amazing how much difference that little tweak with the eyes made.
Thx
Finally someone put his fuckin eyes straight good review dean this would have made me pull the trigger.
Respect.
Great review.
He did use his cape in the movie. It wraps around him and becomes his wingsuit.
He did use his cape in the movie. It turns into the wing suit
That just makes absolutely zero sense. I just re watched that scene, and there is no way a simple hanging piece of material would completely change into a wing suit 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤔🤣🤣🤣🤦🤣🤣🤣
It looked to me like he had an inflatable industrial bin liner hidden away within his suit.
First to like, so sad I’m yet to get this figure 😢
Is the best one .
Incredible Photography!
inart not sending you the figures is such a shame. They don't like deep clear awesome review or what?
They're not exactly helping themselves are they? It's foolish on so many levels. Obviously there's the exceptional quality of Dean's videos, but it would also make sense to have their man in the UK, as they have with Justin in Australia, Jedha in the US, the Devil (forgot his bloody name) in France...
@@dangiambrone7350 Virtual Devil, that's the name you're searching, with Samuel as his real name🤣 but just calling him the Devil is enough, if you want the opinion of a frenchman directly x)
i ordered the drape from onesixthkit and received it under 2 weeks it just changed the look with this cape
its a must have
Inart made a mistake by not providing you with a sample for review and showcase. Your channel is the only one I still follow in the figure-related niche, as I find the others to be boring and insincere. Keep up the great work!
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS HAHAHAHASHDAHFHSADFSAHFASHFAS
Great review dean.
Is that the cloak for the motorbike though , so its bigger for the look .....he comes with another cloak for standing ? Maybe i'm mixing them up .....
The Hot Toys set comes with two capes, Inart only provides one.
Thought maybe that was what it was ....🍷😏
Inart's "influencer" selection policy, their prerequisites, do not make any sense.
Dear INART, (or any other company who may be reading this)
This channel's reviews have convinced me to purchase approximately 14 figures I wouldn't have otherwise purchased over the years while no other channel has convinced me to purchase a single one I didn't already have my eye on.
Is it just me or the cowl headsculpt seems off. Just dont understand why
For me, it’s perfect. The Ht cowl is off to me however
Can you be more specific? Is it the accuracy of the cowl, or the likeness in the eyes and faceplates? It looks near perfect to me, the footage around the 10 minute mark looks so damn good.
Lightbox videos..... you dont love them, dont lie lol. Nobody does.
I regret getting the second batch it will be 2030 when I get mine I reckon 😅
What opinion do you have about the proportions between the head and the body?
Great video
鼻の先が出ている😱😫😞😣😖
Am I the only one that thinks it doesn’t look like Pattinson
Sorry. In my personal opinión: horrendus FIGURE. HEAD is a little passa.
Batman Returns is #1
That’s the best Batman costume ever
It's right up there, that's for sure. It looks cool, it has the fantasy, and a menacing looking cowl.
I will not thank anyone
You begged INart like a dog?
Shame on you.

@dangiambrone7350 I appreciate you having my back, Dan 🤜🤛 Don't worry. Not worth it 👍I think leaving his comment there for people to see is enough.
@@deanknight333 Not sure what that’s supposed to mean. But I had second hand embarrassment for your pitiful antics and begging for free merch.
Leave my comment here, so everyone can see that I have a backbone, unlike you.
I’ll never forget the freebies you promised to give to the community years ago, then kept the spoils for yourself!
Gluttony!
