      Anime.... Be like that

    • @AshenTech
      @AshenTech 9 днів тому +20

      1. Its anime.
      2. because nobody else wanted to do it or had the time...
      3. outside the west, its actually not considered a bad thing to have elder kids taking care of young ones... this has a few reasons, mostly it leads to them being more prepared and overall better parents when they have kids themselves, also less fear of having kids.. now it has to be a balance, i got a buddy who raised his step-niece because her mom died and dad was just totally broken after she died, he worked but he was just.... dead inside.... it took many years and a genuine shock to reset him to closer to his old mental state.. well, it was better my buddy "raise" her than anybody else who had the time and was willing..he also knew something even his parents didnt... he had the support of his friend group... who all got on better with kids and old farts than most of our peers.. and our parents... tho honestly.. she as 7 or 8 when she moved in with him... and shes only ever called him "dad/daddy/etc" in a sarcastic tone... or... well... he had an anime outcome... 2 weeks before her 18th he found out his wife was banging his superior officer and was provided a huge amount of proof, dude was also boffing 1/2 the wives on base or had at some point, one of the soon to be ex's wanted to make sure this a-hole would def not get off due to connections... dude got his ass beat so bad he confessed... im told bars of soap and socks had a hand in his re-rehabilitation... LOL (he also ended up taking a deal to avoid a dishonourable discharge, ended up in a genuine shithole as a recruiter... trying to recruit gang bangers LOL...
      anyway, parentification is toxic when its done to younger kids and over done to older ones, or like with a buddy of mine who has to parent his parents and has been doing this since he was 12yo.. hes right on that bleed over from gen-x to y and is 100% X in attitude and experiences.. his sisters a solid gen-x.. well.. not so much solid as gelatinous.. but yeah.. LOL
      i got more than a few friends who are VERY glad their parents made them help take care of younger kids... one 'knowing how to wrap ass astonished my inlaws, thanks for teaching me' LOL
      yes.. as a teen i was teaching peers and adults how to "wrap ass", so many got subs for cloth diaper services but didnt know how to wrap an arse and the place didnt even offer to show them despite the sub coming with that service... when my buddies mom came in to change a disposable diaper to me wrapping his baby sisters arse with one of the cloth diapers.. she was just blown away.. paid me to teach her to do it, and asked how the hell a single child(she knows my mother), knew how to do that.. when i laughed and said that mom ran a daycare and also.. i dont see how its that hard... its a triangle use is pretty obvious if you can logic and reason... getting good was just a matter of actually doing it.. *shrugs* i dont see the major problem ppl have.. practice on a doll if you need to... hell.. practice on eachother.. if your into that.. :P
      anyway.. this girl he sort-of-raised/helped raise.. decided she wasnt taking a chance on somebody getting the jump on her..getting her man.. (this is how she puts it..)... buddies ex came home to find all her stuff in boxes on the front yard, locks changed and.. he hadnt been home all day, he infact didnt know she went and got new locks and changed them and did that after he told her what he found out the night before and where to look to see why he was acting so out of sorts... dude came home to his soon-to-be-ex locked out, he told her she could move her stuff to the barn a quarter mile up the hill, she would be served in the next few days, once she was served, he came home to a fancy venison steak dinner and his future wife getting him tipsy... he found out what she wanted for her b-day... HIM... LOL...
      it would seem weirder but... even as a kid she hung out with us so much and acted more like our group of friends than her peers.. as did her few friends.. didnt shock me when she decided that, since they share zero blood... she was gonna get her man.. LOL.. (note: its been decades, and she still has very little interest in alcohol but somehow can mix an amazing drink.. her tolerance is almost on par with mine, and mine is why i dont drink.. "the booze, it does nothing, but make me need to piss again" LOL )
      oh, her dad shocked the "biowaste" out of himself..i lean that literally.. and it seems to have reset part of his brain.. hes at least a person again rathre then a biorobot... heh... hering him tell the story about waking up in a puddle of his own urine and a load in his drawers... hard not to laugh when he tells the story.....

Remember, his older sister was keeping an eye on him to make sure he was up to the task, so if it was decided that he _wasn't_ up to the task, they would have taken the responsibility away from him and someone else in the family would have cared for Yuzu instead.
      One of my friends happened to be the oldest of 9 children (5 boys, and 4 girls), and I knew that whenever his parents had to go out, they would leave him and his younger brother (who was a year younger than him) in charge of the other kids.
