One thing I like about your videos is when people approach your videos while you’re recording, you don’t push em away on some stand offish type ish. You incorporate them into your content. It creates a level of authenticity. Many people wouldn’t do that. You could easily edited out that interaction with that other guy that approached you or told him “I’m recording” etc. but you didn’t. Love that

Yes this is one good spot for breakfast! Been there twice! Their other location is in Orange, NJ. which I've been to twice as well! If you're looking for a "home type of vibe of comfort food", this is the spot!😊👍🏼

Mmmmm the food is placed so beautifully and appetizing. I could almost smell it off the screen. Now I have to make me some grits & fish for sure. I each mine with butter, sugar and I sprinkle a little bit of black pepper on the top (lots of butter like the one you was eating). The butter is what makes it. Good video.
I remember how great Jefferson's biscuits are along with their fish. Try Carribean Touch and Cafe Moso on Orange Rd in Montclair also.

JL thank you for going to one of my hometowns and showed support. As a recommendation I would go to Sandwiches Unlimited in Orange when you get a chance. They have a lot of hot and cold sandwiches. Lots of variety and a lot of people get the salad. Thank you again for just being authentic and showing love to the tri state. Be safe 1. One more place too Jimmy Buffs in West Orange.

I love Jefferson's. I used to put hot sauce and syrup on my chicken. The fish and soul food is very good. The uptown is one of the best in NJ. The desserts are yummy too.

Jefferson's is a Montclair institution! Great community spot! It is still thriving in the midst of gentrification! Now you have to go around the corner to Crockett's on Bloomfield Ave. and get some fried fish!
Coopers Deli, Newark, any sandwich from there, Sandwiches Unlimited, Orange, Italian Cheeseburger.

Ok so that food looked insane. And I was tasting it with you, but ngl I almost died when you sugared them grits. We in MD put butter, salt, pepper, and sometimes some old bay and I like to add hot sauce. Mix it with some eggs and potatoes with ketchup. Ong the greedy girl in me busting out

I miss Jefferson Cafe. I moved out of state. Try his Carrot Cake and the dinner menu as well! His other location I think is in Orange or East Orange off of Central Ave. Wish I was there! Wow.
I’m from Tennessee so ima stand by the south got the best food but last year I went to Philly DC that whole lil cluster of cities and I must say yall are valid in the food game slept on for sure I been tryna get back up that way ever since 🤣🤣🤣🤣
