Hi Tim , can you do some videos on how to setup the Micro820 as a RTU? I work in water treatment we have a SCADA system that monitor our elevated tanks.
Sir,i watch every video regarding of automation at your channel, but little bit confuse on this video that how does Rs 232/RS485 working in this micro controller -820..
Here is one on connecting to the Micro820 over serial ua-cam.com/video/hJAh_QeAPgY/v-deo.html Here is one on Modbus RTU ua-cam.com/video/ARg2QHn3IB0/v-deo.html
Do you have video showing using a N/C to the Input 04 or 05... we seem to have a issue with this N/O SWITCH work just fine N/C SWTICH Has +24DC. But the PLC doe not recognize the hi signal from the NC SWITCH. Testing of the NC switch shows its working fine. An EStop and. STOP SWITCH is connected repectively to inputs 04 & 05 Input is set to BOOL for Inputs 04 and 05. Thanks
...this series of PLC is running a huge refrigeration process at my job . very reliable.
Yes I've grown to like them a lot.

NO or NC what? Contact or sensor? My first guess it it is a sensor and you have a PNP or NPN where your wiring calls the for other.
@TimWilborne sorry for the confusion... I updated my question I hope it makes more sense.
