Unfortunately this was my friend’s car and he has since sold it. You’ll love it with the DP though, they sound so much more aggressive

Sounds better if you delete the resonator and tack weld open the valves IF you have comp exhaust. Comp exhaust is essentially hollow so the only restriction once you do those things is the cats inside the downpipe. My next move is catless downpipes in the next year or so, not in a rush tho. When I do it’ll be Evolve dp’s 100%
Downpipes on these make them sound like MONSTERS, huge difference in tone and sound. Evolve seems to be the go-to brand with this platform, can’t go wrong!

Yeah the mufflers don’t do much on these, when you do catless downpipes that’s what makes these sound killer

I have a different platform but I have a muffler and center resonator delete with stock downpipe and if I install a cat less downpipe I will need to add back in a resonator or muffler probably. It’s a Golf R so they sound dog**** straight piped.
I love the Golf R, I saw a dark blue one the other day. I don’t see many in my area with exhausts though. Most are stock.
@@AlexGray it’s a lethal package. I drive a lot so it’s very reasonable for me @ 375HP/400TQ and 25-26+MPG
