Before the video(BV): So cool! I didn't even know a game I've never played ony shelf was Feld's first game! Can't wait to see how it compares to Arena II and also what strategy Sunniva uses to win 😜

It definitely neat to see one of Feld's earlier designs! I've only played Castles of Burgundy (although there are MANY I'd love to try!), I can see how much he's evolved since this first game.

I just bought Roma for the same reason you guys played it, it's Stefan Feld's first game. Luckily I got a really good deal on it as I wasn't a huge fan of the game, but it was better than I expected it to be. I'm definitely glad he moved on to become the point saled master that he is today though!

After Video(AV): Ah yes! I should have known Sunniva would go with the classic Boom Sit Down strategy of rolling better than Johannes. Brilliant! I was wondering how long Johannes' could stay afloat with the 6s for points. Sunniva rolled a lot of 2s for free points or else it could have drawn out even longer. 💥 🪑 ⬇️

Actually I like this game a lot. I´m a sucker for dice drafting games and this serves very well whenever I want to play a quick filler with my wife.

I think Roma is the oldest game that I still have. Haven’t played it for ten years, but it has no resale value, just like la isla.
