I have a trail that I have been chasing the KOM for a few years. The KOM is from 2015 before the reroute that added roughly 50 yds more of trail and 4 turns. I am only 2 seconds off. Everyone else's times since reroute are 20-30 seconds slower than mine. Want to make a new segment for trail reroute, but I think I will eventually get it regardless. Some of the new turns are finally build a little lip, so I will be able to hit them even harder and make that 2 seconds
Sick riding. That accidental line after dodging that guy was so smooth. I like that it's in 60fps, more realistic too be honest. A lot of slower riders using 24 or 30 fps to make themselves look super fast.
The only time I’ve used Strava was to hit a short, local run that I felt pretty good on. Should be about 30 seconds. Top 3 were under 20 seconds. It’s only so reliable 😢
Hey man, don’t know if it’s even possible but some kind of graphical overlay of braking with the POV would be mint. Anyways love your vids, keep ‘em comin’
Really great video man, I love this kind of content! Could I please have your quick opinion on the balance of the geometry of the commencal meta sx v5 in size L in terms of front end grip etc? Enduro/Freeride Mullet, 170/165mm travel, 480 reach, 642.8 stack, 447 chainstay, 64° HTA, 1280 wheelbase This could be my next bike and it seems to have some similarities with the Bullit you're riding here. (I only have a Spindrift 27.5 size L with 435 CS so I'm not familiar with other geometries) Cheers!
Yeah brother I switched to water pack last season since I find myself being more of a thirsty boi in old age, fully embracing dad mtb life. I console myself saying water bottles look ugly on bikes
So many uphill riders and hikers on that trail…kooky but always flick the timber bell on for it 🤙🏻
sometimes strava won't count something towards the kom leaderboard if you have the "start and end hidden" option chosen
Lime Ridge in the winter is some of the most fun you can have in the area
You actually make that trail look fun! 🤘Guess I need more skills to get the most out of that one 😂. Great riding as always!
Best trail in the world lol
Looks like a Gem of a track. Great riding and breakdown

Problem is some trails, no matter how good the rider, look super slow in 60fps
Looks of grass straight lines go down at lime. Good luck 😂
Bike til you KOM dude
I’ll be back
I almost thought wearing your shirt inside out was "In" for 2025 😆😉

Man, and not the best place to be smoking either for that guy! Luckily it's all green right now.

The v5 looks great by the numbers. I think you'd have plenty of front end grip to work with. I'd like to ride one.
@@briancahal Thanks for the reply!
Would love to see a review on it!
Let's see what you got on H&F zombie line
I’ll be spending more time in the ear bay in the coming weeks. I’ll give it a whirl
Great runs. We gotta hook you up with some "dead cats" to put on the mics of the camera. They will cut out like 90% of the wind.
Didn’t connect to the road gap smh
do you record as a MTB ride or an EMTB ride? and do the two compare KOM's between the categories, or they're only compared to their individual group?
I recorded as EMTB. They are separate from normal rides
where is this? I will KOM it!
Lime ridge. Good luck homie
