Why don’t they just have auditions and keep the best 300 in one bend and the other kids in another band? They would destroy.
they have a title they want to keep, which is the biggest band in the land. If they split the band they would no longer have the title. Now yes, it would be good for purposes such as UIL.
That’s what they are doing this year
I can't imagine a program WANTING to shrink there band haha. My band only had 52 people lol 😢
@@Dave609BIG DEAL! I am a Escadrile alumni and I find this ludicrous.
The woodwinds at 4:20 are as loud as our brass features. As a clarinet, I can proudly say they've done what every woodwind band director has asked them to do, play the shit out of the horn.
Mad?😂
This band is too big 😂
That's so many people you gotta tune. Those poor directors.
They look like they are stuffed on the field.
Imma be in this band next year
wait why didnt allen not even make it to top12?
cause they dirty.
We trash
@@r7an55 2 big 2 clean. I was in band this big back in high school. Crowds love the big bands tho.
I think it's something to do with the sheer size. I doubt this is everyone in the band, and even then it is still way too big. People, including judges, eat up big bands, but it gets to a point where it's probably near impossible to get it perfectly in tune and in step, whereas other bands have a more appropriate size to clean all of that up. Plus, add in the fact that Texas is extremely competitive in general.
I want louder
