Yup
We didn’t call it goth bank then.
Wow, qué fuerte cantarle a alguien del pasado remoto... Un habitante de Pompeya.
Pompeii is a vast archaeological site in southern Italy’s Campania region, near the coast of the Bay of Naples. Once a thriving and sophisticated Roman city, Pompeii was buried under meters of ash and pumice after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D. The preserved site features excavated ruins of streets and houses that visitors can freely explore.
I haven't heard this in nearly 40 years, what a whirlwind.
80s goth. 🖤 Their music is timeless & Siouxsie has an amazing voice!
I always thought Siouxie and my main man Robert Smith were more expressionist than goth, like Les Enfants Terrible.
Awesome track. I still have my vinyl 12" purchased brand new in 1986 and it plays like new. I'm almost 60, and my grandson loves alternative music and culture.....and independent like his granddad!!!!
My teenage self is in heaven listening to all this great music Siouxsie and the Banshees The Smiths The Cure these were my jams back in the day and still are
Just discovered this song. 10/10 amazing.
Same. I cannot believe it took this long.
Beat me by a fortnight :)
One of the best songs ever! :)
I see everyone's comments and figured to chance the song. I don't know the banshees well. Her shrills are so intoxicating. Beautiful allure.
This band is absolutely legendary, influential to a lot of artists today
This is still my favourite ever song by them. When I first found it I must have played it hundreds of times. Always have to hit replay on it now whenever I come across it again. Totally captivating
Such an under rated group. This song kicks ass!
The quality of the musicianship on this song is so unique, so timeless. ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️
Siouxsie is my hero, and out there on her own for stage presence. Wish she would make more music.
One of my all time Banshees faves. Only a band this clever could write a song about the destruction of Pompeii and not only make it listenable, but seriously cool. Give me intellectuals every time!
She has such a great voice!
