- This has been a long time coming..... FINALLY we get to fly to the UK so my family can meet baby Lexi! this is the RAW flying with a baby from AUSTRALIA to the UK. This is the full adventure flying from Australia to the UK, Adelaide to Heathrow. This is the full story of what it was like flying with a baby on a long haul flight. I wanted to film as much as I can on this journey showing what it's like to fly long haul with a baby! We also get to experience premium economy on Singapore airlines. I talk about if premium economy is worth it. We stop at the transit hotel in Singapore airport as we had a 8 hour layover with a baby.

Flying across the world with a baby was definitely a challenge and I wanted to share the journey in the most real way possible so here you go.... ENJOY! ;-)

@@PocketTrailblazer totally get that. I went back to Sweden in February to meet my nephew who had just turned 2 then and who I'd never met. It was lovely to see him, meet my sister and partner. Enjoy your time with family and friends.

I'm happy you made it home. Watching this makes me really happy for you but sad for my sister in law. She's like you in reverse, Aussie living in the UK. She had a second baby (first girl) in lockdown who's almost 2 now and hasn't been able to meet her Aussie family yet
Yeah it's been really tough and I totally understand any parents in that situation, it's honestly been really rubbish but there is a light at the end of the tunnel, the boarders are fully open now so hopefully she can get home soon, Thanks so much for watching Claire, xx

This is a great video ! loved it! would you recommend getting a seat for a nearly 2 baby? I know we don't need to but would that be a good idea?
Honestly if you can then I would say yes!! We just flew with Lexi who is 19 months now and it’s hard work having her on us the whole time, plus if they don’t have a seat then they don’t get a meal so Lexi basically ate all my food! Lol 😂
