What's funny is that in episode 2 if Ray decided to get a bunch of diamond or iron or or anything or even 1 extra gold block, that's what the tower of pimps would be. Picture all the thousands of alternate realities with different outcomes could be possible if Ray had 9 extra gold or different blocks in that chest!

No lie, I explored the tutorial world for the first time today (having played a whole bunch of Xbox Minecraft before this) and discovered the tower without even knowing it was gonna be there. I did the biggest double-take and immediately googled to find this video.

Minecraft Episode 2. Ray had gold to make powered rails, and he had just enough to make 4 gold blocks. Gavin made the blocks, built the tower and said, as I quote "I have built the Tower of Pimps, everyone worship me."

Have you not been watching any Minecraft Let's Play from Roosterteeth? The tower of pimps is merely the monument to which all achievements these guys make in minecraft. It's a trophy used to celebrate victory created by this group in their various let's plays.
