We rented an Airbnb in January, AND July, in the LOL area on purpose. Yes, it was amazing January, but it was the same as sumners in the Northeast, in July. I didn't see any negatives about Florida summers compared to ours. In fact, your humidity actually freshened the air, compared to our stifling ozone polluted air. You get your air from the fresh Gulf. We get ours from Ohio 😃
