11:16 That "somebody/guy" must be a really cool dude 😉
Shout out to Dennis Kong for the rear bumper cap! You’re the man!
@@crxseth the pleasure's all mine 😉
Love it! Also, shout out to Shawn. As we get older, harder and harder to get homies to help as we are ALL super busy!
Absolutely!! He was a huge help and glad to have him as a friend, especially one so interested in cars as I am.
Perfect deep tone and not even a spec of rasp i can’t even imagine paired with a good quality header
Just saw that LHT Performance is developing a new S2K header design which will no doubt be awesome.
CRXseth drops a new video, I watch it, I like it. Seems legit!
Thanks!
No problem. You blew me away with what you did to that old beat up CRX. Can't wait to see what you do with this S2000!@@crxseth
Sounds perfect for a street car. Love the hardtop too
That has to be the best helmholtz resonator I’ve ever seen… Wow!
To be honest, for the loudest setting I’m using, that resonator is completely blocked off. It has a plate with a small hole that can be used to get quieter, as well as removing the plate for the quietest setting.
Great sound, just wish the manufacturer would make a twin outlet.
Absolutely love my Center Exit Remark exhaust on my Corolla Hatchback (e210)!
Sounds great, the catalytic converter really helped out.👍🏾
Great compliment to the oem+ vibe. It has a nice mature sound.
The S2000 looks badass.
Glad to see you back at it after the holidays! Happy New Year!
Thanks! My intention was to record a lot during my two week vacation from work, but I just didn’t feel up to it so I slacked off some.
Look and sound great! I just did T1R single on my 05. I love it so far.
Sounds perfect.
That side resonator makes it sound great
It’s actually completely blocked off.
Isn’t that to get rid of exhaust drone?
@@Athon08 That, and to make the exhaust quieter. You can block it off completely for loudest setting, use the block off plate with a hole in it for medium loudness, or no plate and use the resonator fully for quietest sound.
@@crxseth oh nice. Cool you can tune it
It's perfect. Nice upgrade
Thank God and ODOT we don’t have to deal with Rust like our East 😮 Oregun-
Sounds Soooo Good 👍
It’s sounds a lot better
sounds amazing buddy
Sounds so much better but single exit is playing hell with my OCD 😅
Once that bumper cutout is covered it’ll be great. The little 2.0 liter 4-cylinder doesn’t need two mufflers!
Good work
Love the S2000 and great sound not those what makes pops and bangs but one thing please use the safety cap on de angle grinders I have seen things when it goes wrong and that not funny to see.
Specific comment at the dreaded 3400 rpm drone would be good. All sound good runnign through gears of vtec. Hemholtz resonator must be closed to set up a standing wave at drone frequency. And that one is huge! Never seen one after the normal resonator. I have a Red 2001 S2000. Good video! Thanks
I’m not familiar with the drone issues at certain RPM’s so I’m not sure how this will fare. I haven’t really driven it much since install but I’m sure it will be great based on my experience thus far.
After market exhaust have a nasty tendency to drone at constant speed rpm around 3300 to 3400. Sound clips often intentionally run through that spot so it does not occur and sounds great@@crxseth
The extra canister on the driver's side should help alleviate mid rpm drone. HKS uses similar designs on their exhaust now for this reason.
It will still drone mate even with the quietest setting. i got the HKS 75MM and drones a bit between 3k and 4k.. bought a silencer for the exhaust and it gets way better.. it hurts the sound a bit tho.
Yes thats the Hemholtz. S2000 slang for the OEM one is Donkey Di*k is in front of the Resonator. I have seen the HKS works very well@@sdothayden
Hi Seth,
Isn't it risky to use the impact screwdriver near the lambda sensor?
I read in the workshop manual that the O2 sensors are very sensitive to percussion.
Gotta do what you gotta do to get the job done sometimes.
Pain the cover the same color as the body. Will look way cleaner!
I always heat up the flange surrounding the studs and air hammer them out. Dont point it towards glass though. Lol
got to love rusty bolts. smh we all have our fair share of them.
Why not dual exhaust?
Not really any need, and this exhaust is the sound I was looking for. I will block off that bumper cutout soon.
Add some Honda Fit, and I'll... SUBSCRIBE 😮
It sounds awesome , but the S2000 doesn't look right , with one exhaust outlet.
Once the bumper is blocked off, it’ll be great. That empty bumper cutout is awful, I agree.
Don't like the look. This car needs a 2 tips exhaust.
По-моему двигателю плохо, слишком много дыма, Он наверное кушает масло надо поменять маслосъёмные колпачки. 😂🤣😂🤣
Doesn't sound worth the price.
What would you expect for the price?
worse.
