Substantial discussion of the Seven Churches of Revelation. Would you engage the repetition of “I know thy works”. It struck me that our Lord takes very little about our faith and address our works as His spiritual fulcrum of assessment.

Also People Keep in mind that John was not Exiled to Patmas first and foremost, and that is simple really. Also the teacher at the church called Hillview said that: that was only Church Historic Tradition, but not actual historic fact. You can find him online. Also the Message that He Preached was not the book of Revelation because it hadn't been written yet, but John said that they didn't need that he write anything down and that is important for you to get that. What he was preaching though was probably a different message then the book of Revelation, although he could of said something very close to his revelation message; but keep in mind that he was preaching something and not something that he wrote down at that time, and that was because the book of revelation hadn't been written as of yet and John said that he didn't need to write anything down for these churches and so there is no proof that he preached that particular book of Revelation to the 7 churches: besides the book of Revelation was not to first century Christians anyway, but it was to End time Christians, and remember that: when he warned Jezebel he was in a way warning end times Christians not to be like Her, or any other churches as well. But he was talking to end time Christians because the book of revelation was only written to Tribulation Saints only. But anyway the book of revelation does not actually start until the "Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church-Body of Christ", but as soon as we are gone then the book of revelation will unfold. Also after John had finally finished his book of revelation then he probably did give a copy to it to all 7 churches even though it was not about them directly.
    C. I. Sclfield wasn't right when he said that these churches Culminated down through time to where we are now, and that was because they were of the first century. And the idea that that there were "Seven Periods of Church History going through changes is probably not true", and even Michael Pearl also doesn't believe that himself anymore either. Although the churches I would say do change during the historic time, but you can't prove that they really had any connection to the first century people at all, plus Jezebel does not live today. So the culminating church through historic time really doesn't have a very strong truth to it.
Hope that helps you. Don't get me wrong Chuch Missler is a very good teacher, and I myself was shocked that he missed it. I myself today always go back and recheck myself because I myself really liked Chuck Missler's teachings, but even he can be wrong. Also I really have found that Justin Johnson iis one of the best teachers today, but he could be wrong. Also not sure what his ideas about the 7 churches are, and maybe I will never know, but he hasn't had a teaching on it yet. But I myself always hope that I am always wrong because if someone calls me out, or I find that I am wrong years later: then I can just change what I believe. So hopefully I'll be wrong a-lot, and besides like science the bible is not really very clear in a-lot of areas. Like the Creation story for instance: Even Chuch Missler said that the "Gap Theory in Creation is very Speculative" anyway, and so Your hoping that if anybody is wrong then it will be you anyway because we're all faced with the same Unfortunate Paradoxes you know. If Moses would of thought more rashionally of how to write the first 4 book, and more intelligently about how to write it: then there wouldn't be so much confusion today. But the Book of Genesis out of the 66 books is a very brief story book of how God created it, but it does leave for a-lot of theories because it leaves so much out like science and stuff. It seems to want us to beleive that everything was created in 6 days in creation week, and we're left with some people believing that God created the angels on one of the days when if that were true you couldn't have the fall of Lucifer nor the angels either. That is the angels had to of been created before the 6 days in Genesis or they didn't really exist at all: no way around that one. At least these angels might of existed in heaven as servants originally before he created the universe and then Adam --- maybe the Universe was already here and then the 6 days creation week was just the earth and the Solar System: maybe it was only the heaven with the angels first and then the earth afterwards, and then the universe was the first thing before heaven and the earth maybe, but who knows because what is said is so brief and so simple who could miss it. Although Chuck is still a good teacher anyway. But listen to that Hillview preacher because what he says is interesting. Also don't get bent out of shape because someone has a theory because You know John wasn't too clear anyway.

Also You must understand Dispensationalism before you interpret the bible because proper division is crucial to understanding the proper dispensation that is talking directly to you as well: because not all of the books were written directly to you. Btu however all books in the bible were written to everybody to have an understanding of all bible subjects. but it may not be written directly to you. So watch proper dispensational division when you read the bible.
    Hope that this helps you.

Did you check this stuff out with multiple sources? Do you just believe this because one guy that you found interesting at a Hillview church said so?

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING THE WORD OF TRUTH.
David O’Steen has an excellent Revelation series. The 7 churches are Jewish-read it. All have to do works, talks about synagogues of Satan. Written to the Jews at the end time after the rapture of the Church which is his Body. Romans-Philemon are the doctrine to us today. Hebrews-Revelation are doctrine to the believing Jews in the future. We are not appointed to wrath and the time of ‘Jacob’s Trouble’ is for the Jews (Israel). We are NOT Israel, we are a New Creature where circumcision and uncircumcised don’t matter. It’s called The Dispensation of the Grace of God. Believe 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 to be saved.
