This is really where u see how much todd loves viki. The way he comforts her is so gorgeous. How he gets on the floor w/ her in rhs soft voice & puts his hands on her back & neck & starts to tear up as vikis sobbing. I even love how he tries to use some light jokes to lighten the mood. Todd in his momebts when comforting others is wonderful.
Vicki's loss of control and Todd's true sympathy for his sister was fantastic these two people who had hardly crossed paths before came into each other's lives and formed such a bond. Even though they were only half siblings, their bond was forged from the type of horrors they lived and could both relate to. I absolutely love this relationship
This scene has to be one of my favorite Todd and Vicki moments. One of the reason is the choreography and body movements that Roger and Erika make that allow the scene to be sooo sweet, loving, and AMAZING. . This scene also confirmed that TSJ was never Todd. The way he reacted towards Vicki, when she bailed out Todd--was unbelievely rude. Even though, Todd has yelled at Vicki he was never rude to her.
They share the bond of trauma. Vicky actually said in one episode that she never wanted to admit it but she loved Todd even more than her own children. I love how they wrote this relationship!❤
Also just to show how not todd tsj was Erika slezak publicly commented how surprised his acting was when viki Said to " todd" after the rapemance w/ amnesiac Marty & his plans to kidnap starra child & let her believe her baby died " u have finally become our father " & she was shocked at tsj's nonchalant delivery of his dialouge & unlike rh who showed the audience exactly Todd's feelings all over his face tsj didn't. This stunned her & es to publicly comment on another actors performance is very very unlike her. I think tsj was a decent actor & was capable of doing a good enough job playing a very enormous role & nobody would or could expect any recast to be todd other than the original esp such a complex & very unique part. A character that was supposed to be gone right after the rape trial when the rape was originally written. In fact in 2013 the head writer Micheal Malone who messed up not seeing the potential in todd & rh past it being Marty's story only & about her redemption arc after she was the town pariah lying about Andrew & Billy Douglas having a underage illegal sexual relationship add to the fact Andrew was an Episcopalian priest
Loved this scene so much where Todd shows viki genuine love & concern. Loved when shes crying & todd has his hand on her shoulder getting on the ground w/ her than trying to make her laugh & tell her its not a big deal. Their bond that was building really solidified here. Even though it was at the worst story of vikis therapist planting seeds to kill Kevin.
Love todd & viki the best sibling relationship ever. I like how todd put his hand on her shoulder. Funny how todd said Jack. Haha obviously his sons future name. I liked how todd said " you're son brought you some flowers " Viki just adored todd. I love how it would make kevin jealous. Todd imo looked the best when he came back in 96. The short lighter hair and stubble. So hot. This is where todd & viki truly bonded. I think todd loved and trusted viki above everyone else. No romantic complications just pure unconditional love.
I also liked how Todd tried the lighten the mood a little bit after their emotional almost hug, head touching moment, about how he hadnt seen Vicki like that since he witnessed her other personalities to come out, but he did it in such a way it made Vicki laugh slightly and then he did a lil bit too, like only a sibling can do, even though they didnt grow up together, they had that bond.
True, this was a great scene, but the storyline was terrible. Carlo Hesser had forced Viki's new therapist, Dr. Elliot Durbin, to hypnotize her into killing Kevin, hence her rage against Kevin in this scene. A few months after this scene aired, head writer Leah Laiman was fired.
They changed who killed Victor so many times I don't know who did it and if that was really him in 2003 to this day.....Love ES and RH together....Would love to see them in a return from the dead SL again.

You are right. He loved Viki above everyone cause they can be honest with each other. Their relationship was not forced.
damn ES killed these scenes and ITA she can do so much more but they give her so little.
