We been gone for 22years in Australia. So we are Australian citizens.But we moved back for good in February.Luckily for us we bought our house in Noordhoek before we left.So we are happy to be back in Cape Town.
We sold our house in the Overberg in April. We were tired of the 3 hour drive back to Cape Town to see our families and it became very costly . We also tried to scale town by buying a smaller property. We finally found something we could afford in a decent area. As an attorney told us once. “If you want return on your investment it all comes down to location. Location! Location!“ Problem is it’s in desperate need of TLC. We moved in only this week and it’s been a long 3 months living with our children. They became tired of us living with them. This week we started giving our new home the TLC it so desperately needs. Hard work. Our furniture still in storage in the Overberg. But we are half way there. Glad to be back in CPT and in our own home.
When something is meant to be it will all just fall in place by the Grace of God...even when you unprepared God has already went before your plans...all the best in Cape Town...A wonderful move to you both...and Happy Travelling and moving...And God Bless you both Natalie and Alfred❤🙏🏻

My daughter is here 5yrs and dear mom has been back n forth, she loves jozi, also happy in her job, mom is like a floating trophy, we came to jozi to join my son and now a year and a half later,he is in Australia....and my heart is at peace but I have my heart thére, my eldest and her kids....❤
Welcome home Adriaan Family!!! Im so excited. I cant wait to bump into you guys on the streets of Cape Town. I will defs say 'HELLO'. My husband and I have been through the exact same process. We move CPT to PTA , had our baoes theres, and the 5years later moved back to CPT for family and support too. We did the same thing, with regards to schools and it was a challenge. But once schools are found, you build around that. Its been 7 years now, and its been going well. However, PTA will always have our hearts, and it was an amazing city to stay in and start a family in. Would recommend it to anyone. All of the best! And can't wait for the nrw CPT adventures.

Morning boet from a windy and wet Cape Town. Cape Town isn't expensive. I moved back to Cape Town this year after living in Gqeberha for almost 15 years and that phrase "Cape Town is expensive" is a myth. Trust me when i say it isn't. The only thing expensive is the rent and electricity. Food, schools, entertainment is the same as Jozi. Depending on where you staying food is actually cheaper. I stay in The South and i love it. So don't worry about, you will love it and see that it isn't expensive. Take care boet, hope to see you soon.
