Do you enjoy teaching? I'm in school for elementary ed and I'm getting so scared/discouraged by seeing so many teachers unhappy in this profession! So many young teachers have told me to change my major but I feel like I am meant to teach.
If you feel this way go for it! I would look into alternative certification programs, though. That way you can major in something else and have that to fall back on if you don’t enjoy teaching. That’s what I did so I have my degree in healthcare admin and my teaching certification.

They usually hate it but we’ve been challenging them with harder lessons so now they’ve been slightly more excited!
