hahahahaha .... Thnx Johhny for this feedback... It did my best and it was a challenge to get the colors right, but happy with the result ... And happy to read that you guys like it to. :-)
Always a pleasure reading comments like this :-)

It gon cost more with that kind of paint job
he'd be better off at Todd McFarland those guys are all about high detail.
@Anonymous . Its worth it. I just paid 80 n some change for a Lego box......crazy what toys cost
@@PropsN3D what would you charge to do another one. My son is all into iron man and the marvel characters
Before: Hasbro
After: Hottoys
Cahyo Putra True, hit toys are fuckin amazing, but expensive as fuck
@@Berlin19691 agree
Absolutely. With that amount of detail, it came out looking like a Hot Toy.
Venom ew shut up fucker
Before: TOMY
After: Hot Toys
Before: How you see toys as an adult.
After: How you saw toys when you were a kid.
True
true. so many memory
Amen.
True.
Mano eu poderia jurar que eu achava que era em tamanho real 😂😂
quedó GENIAL, muy buena chamba colega!
Extremely talented artist right there. That particular figure is a kids toy to be played with which is what Hasbro are all about but it's now a statue that would rival any Sideshow polystone version that would cost shitloads.
Finally! A man of similar culture!
Thnx man ... pleasure reading this comment :-)
Cheers
DB
It would be nice to actually see you spray paining
That's what I was thinking. He'd rather show us opening paint bottles. 🤔😑
you deserve a medal or a trophy or something
LOL ;-)
I don't know how I got here, but man, I don't regret it. Some god damn creative and skillful content, that is why I pay for my Internet. Have my like.

aaaaaaaamazing!!!!!!! the paint scheme and the lights made it worth 300 dollars more.
You just turned a 25 to $30 toy into a masterpiece that is priceless
Thnx Mizzike :-)

Sir you just shown with alittle TLC the beauty is in the details
Reminds me of how off-the-shelf Gundam kits are turned into showroom quality material. Good work bro.👍

That’s a lot of work. Great job! 👍🏻👍🏻

That's how collection toys must looking! It's just amazing!)) pretty cool.
Perfect transformation! The only thing is that I hope the eyes light up too.

Hasbro makes toy
People like this guy makes it better
Hasbro:Wait thats illegal
Absolutely insane job. I was almost expecting it to start moving on its own for a bit. You took that from a basic toy, to a luxury action figure. Send pictures of the before and after to the toy company. I bet it blows their minds. You got a new sub.
Hi Richard ... thanks for the feedback .. Actually, that doesn't sound bad at all ... Maybe I will :-)

Justice has been served... welldone
This is the best version I've seen on UA-cam. The red is more spot on than any other good job! The presentation was awesome too. I saw another comment talking about cosplay chris but I think this one is way better.
Hi Mario,
A pleasure of reading this. Yes I've seen the comments on Cosplay Chris. He's also awesome and yes he's an insperation of many. But I also do thing mine is different then others ;-)

Whoever did this iron man toy project. did a outstanding job. good work
Geekzone , exactamente amigo
You just made your own hot toys version of the Hulkbuster! Keep it up dude!
Thnx man for the feedback ... I'll try to keep up ;-)

This is like the Marvel Legends action figures, the only toys I’d ever buy because the quality and mobility of the toys was the best.
Hasbro Version:$25
This Version:$500
This is the best diorama I’ve seen. Damn incredible!
Hi .. thnx for the feedback .. I'll try to keep up in my other projects :-)

i wish the eyes lights up too
I would of just got a fine paintbrush and put some clue inside the eyes
I’m going to attempt to paint up one of these and to also fit led lights for the eyes.... wish me luck ..
Yeah that would have been insane.

This is amazing, much better than Hottoys version.
You can make high detail with low cost, nice work man 👍🏼
Hi Glory ... wow thanks man for the feedback. I try to do my best and it was a challenge with ups and downs, but overal happy with the result.

Glory Days it’s good, but much better than the hot toys version my ass. This isn’t as near as good as hot toys
That's Rad, You should do more, awesome sauce. Nice work on the Hulkbuster, i think you made Tony happy.

Wow!!! Impressive as hell!!! Great job!
Make a time laps video instead of pic collage video. It would be more interesting to watch. Either way the end result is epic!
That is much better than the hot toys that looks a real metal, that is awesome dude
Dammit Hasbro.. This guy just took ur 💩 toy.. And made it awesome.. How bout u guys try a little harder in the 1st place next time
Well, sure they could make their toys with this level of detail, but then again the price would not stay the same... (There are actually toy companies that specialize in high detail - and high cost - models that are incredibly detailed). For the price they're charging I think Hasbro can be cut some slack, to be honest.

Dude! Where did you even learn on how to do this? You've literally just upgrade a plain looking plastic toy to an awesome, action-figure worthy one. Hats off to you for creating such a masterpiece.
You could to have put led light in the eyes too, but stayed awesome 👍🏻
Wow ! U r an artist!
Amazing! It's like Hot Toys paint job! in a slightly less resolution due to the model kit itself!
Hi VideoReborn,
Thnx for the feedback.
Yes less resolution... But if it would have I would have a massive paint job :-) :-)
But overal very happy with the result. It was quest to find the right colours.
Cheers.

元々の造形の美しさが際立ってますね!
You turned a 25 dollar toy into a 300 one hahaha
yeah, that's a price I think will be fair. But in that case I hope u don't have to unscrew all the screws to change battery or to turn it on and off!!
Actually... $600+ toy according to his Etsy lol
What an AMAZING makeover you should send a picture of your Hulkbuster to Hasbro and tell them thats how it should be done.
Nice job. As for the video If you are up for suggestions, I'd say shorten these to say 10 minutes and add a before and after shot at the end... would pay off better for some. Insanely good paint job.
Hi Plexis,
Thnx for the comment. Yeah I know .. I could use more shots from before and after in closeup. I already had this question. I'm working on it to do better footage of that.
For the new video's to come I try to do that. Same are already started, so for the next 2 projects I didn't realized it, so it will be the next.
But I won't forget and think about your feedback.
Thnx for the comment on the paint job :-)
Cheers
DB
OMG!!! This is EPIC!!
Omg so much time flipping through pics of the same stuff being being sanded down and primed. We get it, dude.
Respect your craft, though.
Hi,
This was my first video on UA-cam and I hadn't made a video, so off course I used the pictures as slides. Never the less it give people an idea on how I did this Hulkbuster, what the goal is here.

Diorama Builders so cool how you always reply... good job on this amazing piece!

Amazing work well done
how it looks on the box.
Hi Sergui,
Thnx for the feedback :-)
DB
AAAAmazing!!!! I have one of these and wanting to do the same. You absolutely KILLLED with that base! Nice job.
That red! Looks amazing! Is that a candy red over silver?
Hi Nate ... Thnx man ... support is always welcome :-)
Yes I'm using Enamel Candy Red (kinda transparent) over the silver, which I've used for the pre-shading.
It was a long road of testing and finding the right colour, but this one nailed it ... to my opinion :-)
Cheers and check out my channel soon
Batman is coming :-)
DB
Diorama Builders thanks. I'm hoping to get one of these soon and want to do this.
how many bottles of each color did you have to use?
not a problem man ... (call me Kurt :-))
I think I've used 2 bottles of the Alclad 2 black primer (bigger bottles) (but you can use any cheap black spray paint) ... 2 bottles of silver and 4 bottles of the red. The silver covers smoothly, but the red is transparent so several coats are necessary according to what you like.
I must be honest: I've tested a lot so many bottles were needed. But the silver and red are small bottles.
Happy to give some hints in exchange for some sharing of my channel ;-p
Good luck my man and keep me up te date on the work
Cheers
DB
Diorama Builders WOW! what price do you get them for? lowest I've seen on ebay is around $10
thanks kurt, yeah thats just the reply it puts for your name lol.
Diorama Builders I also see you said you glued or filled the seams but you had to have it aparr for paint. how did that work? waa that just for soothing the seams or…..?
That is an amazing transformation. A truly fine job.
This could rival Cosplay Chris' but the presentation needs alot of work.
Thnx for the feedback :-)
Yes I know that Chris and many others also did this figure, and also came up with something beautifull. I went for a more realistic look and very happy with the result.
This was my first video and yeah I know: beginners presentation :-)
Would be better in my other video's like the Batman and Goku.
If you have suggustions ... always welcome to level up my vids :-)
Cheers
DB
Chris got nothing on this tho
Thnx 3G for the compliment :-)
Cosplay Chris with his dodgy shoe polish weathering...I don't think so fella.
yeah. great end result but the music is annoying. would like to hear him talk and also give us a before and after side by side look. he needs to work on his presentation
Shows that the toy"s original sculpt was pretty outstanding. Which I guess is why you chose it. All it needed was your sublime painting skills to become something truly amazing! Great work! Wish the video had some clips of you actually working, though. I'd love to see your technique in action.
So you basic transform a kid toy in figure of $1000 uwau
Superb job, I really like the way you have made him look like he's been in a scrap. The scratches and leaking hydraulic fluid are a nice touch. Bravo!

Wow! Masterpiece!! I like it!! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍
La verdad no me gustó para nada el vídeo, porque vemos ya todo pintado y yo esperaba ver la técnica o como iba pintando no todas las piezas enteras pero si algunas grandes y casco, así sea en velocidad rápida
Hi Andres,
I have another video where I explain how I painted and another video on the LED's.
You can check them out also.
This was my first video I created so keep that in mind. Al my other videos are exctually videos :-)

that looks incredible
well done !
Thnx Richard :-)

I'm confused? If you fill the seams with cement, how are you able to separate the toy?
Hi Minutes Now
Well the front opens by design so you can put a figure in it... But I didn't liked the seems and I wanted to be as real - non plastic looking - as possible. For me those are the details that could ruin the end result.
After glued on the leds I didn't need to open it :-)
Cheers
DB
Great job! I love the wear marks, makes it look so real.
unfortunately you don't show how you spray it... too pity
Hi Xperia... Maybe you didn't saw it, but I actually have a little tutorial on how I airbrushed it.

This is truly amazing! Nice! I got the same exact toy for my nephew and he doesn’t play with it anymore, thinking about doing the same thing to the hulk buster now lol
Sólo te faltó tapar los orificios de los tornillos ;)
Hi LordResident,
The reason the wholes are not filled, is because the way to assemble and install the leds. If I had to redo the Hulkbuster, maybe I would take another approach and would fill them.
But thanks for the comment :-)
Cheers
DB
Excellent result. I was disappointed we didn't get a more detailed step by step explanation
Hot toys, want to know your location
Wow dude awesome blown away
THE ONLY PART I DIDNT LIKE ABOUT YOUR CUSTOM IS THAT YOUVE TAKEN TOO MUCH TIME IN DETAILING BUT YOU DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TO COVER THE SCREW HOLES AT THE BACK.. ITS SO DISTRACTING TO WATCH... IM SORRY FOR THE NEGATIVE COMMENT, BUT IM ALSO A CUSTOM TOY MAKER IN MY OWN FREE TIME, BUT I REALLY LOVE TO COVER ALL THOSE HOLES TO MAKE THE CUSTOM TOY LOOK MORE REALISTIC.... .. I HOPE YOU GET MY POINT... AND ALSO, I LEARN SOMETHING ABOUT YOUR LIQUID MASKING, WHICH I MADE MY OWN LIQUID SO THAT I WONT BUY THE LIQUID YOU USE...
Hi Jun,
Thnx for the feedback. I know about the screw holes. It was a challenge to get everything sanded, painted and install the leds, so this was the way to work. But if I had to redo it, I would have a different approach because I would have the knowledge and experience about this Hulkbuster and how it is build. First time is sometimes trail and error, but overal happy with the result, colors, leds, etc ...
Well about the liquid mask: not 100% my thing, but a whole lat better the taping of an area ... my thoughts off course.
But again: I learned a lot during this project and more to come and hope that others can learn from my mistakes :-) :-) :-)
Cheers
