    I urge you to check out The Science Network's site as it has more information about this and many other interesting subjects. They hold the copyright on this material (to my knowledge) and if they should want me to remove this, I will comply. In my defense, I just wanted to get this information out to as many people as possible.

    Excellent video. I was expecting it to be crap because it was part of the "Beyond Belief" Conference, but this guy actually stuck to facts and science (although, I haven't watched part II yet, so fingers crossed).

      Thankfully his mirror neuron hypothesis has been proven wrong .
      We can now go onto real science

    @mystisme
    You're talking about the concept of zero and you probably mean the Olmecs. V.S. Ramachandran talks about the western symbol for 0. It's a categorization error.

    @mystisme Are you claiming that the Indians and Arabs COPIED the idea of zero from the meso-americans?
    I think the notion of zero was already in India before Columbus started bothering the Americas. The Wikipedia article on zero says it was used in India as a place-holder as far back as 458 CE.

    Deepak would have blown people's minds at this. He makes amazing points and it's harsh that they discredit him. Any thoughtful person can understand what he says.

    Despite what Deepak says. The ultimate truth in life is that no religion can save you, no church can. Only trust in Jesus Christ and turning from sin.
    If you don't think so then I have every evidence that thinking your an atheist is intellectually dishonest and you can't live it out in reality. Believing in the myth and fairytale of macro evolution is also intellectually dishonest and kinda crazy. lol
    I hope I see you in heaven one day :) You're awesome.

      Thanks, McChulo! I respect your views and beliefs, but please don't start to become certain, as if you have evidence that the theory of evolution were somehow intellectually dishonest. It is an established fact, observed by people from different faiths around the world as being one of the greatest achievements of scientific thought. It may be wrong, as all things may be, but to the best of our knowledge, right now, its the best we have in terms of supportable scientific theory to explain the variety of life we can see around us. Hope this helps, and I think you are awesome too.

      @@GingerDrums He won't reply to you, they are going around trying to scare as many people as possible into their religion because that's what it is, believing in a crazy story in fear or eternal torture.

      @@GingerDrums nothing in science is an established fact lol
      There is very good evidence for evolution that warrants a belief in it but science doesn’t deal in facts.
      Fact is something that is true yesterday , today and in the eternal future and since science doesn’t deal in fortune telling it doesn’t deal in facts .
      What it does deal in is weighted evidence.
      Your actually bringing religion into evolution when you claim it’s a fact

      @@angelbrother1238 read my comment again. I go to lengths to make it clear that scientific knowledge is always in process, flux, and that is precisely its strength relative to dogmatic systems of belief.
